He has always been a difficult bowler to get away and since his return has been pretty economical in National T20 cup.With the departure of hafeez we don't have someone who can choke the batsmen (Imad has been excellent in T20s but in ODIs batters have been able to play him at more than 5 runs an over and he is pretty predictable and mediocre).Raza hasan was an exceptional talent and I think we need a bowler like him to play with shadab,Amir and Hasan.As far as batting is concerned he can also bat a bit like modern tail enders

Hasan still needs to put the time into domestics, can't fast track a guy who's had the issues he's had. He needs to perform well and stay on the right path consistently for at least 12-18 months more before being considered.

Asked one of the coaches at NCA(Ali zia) about him about 15 months ago and he was extremely displeased with his behaviour.But I think if he showed a good behaviour he can be given a opportunity(If amir can than why shouldn't he?)
kamran ghulam is a "Rayloo katta" you will notice with time
players like Immad and de grandehomme are not hitters they are hit or miss kind of players who are probably doing better comedy than hitting while their stay at the crease

bits and pieces cricketer like Imad he means.
His batting is good but only for test. He can't hit and we can't afford to have at at 8. Plus He was a very poor fielder before his ban. As i said earlier i will defnietly take him test, but Odi's there is no place for him.
He is a much better bowler then imad and their is incomparable. Plus much better batsmen then him. Even if they think he is bits and pieces still much better then imad.

I think we need a quality bowler for ODIs first, batting can be additional. If Raza is good enough to play as a bowler alone he should be selected but question is he fit enough? after all he has gone through, I think he may need some more time in the domestic cricket to get himself back into competitive cricket.
As I will say again he is much better than imad though i would have shadab, fahim,amad and amir yamin over both of them anyway.
In ODI's we have shadab and also the next World cup is in England so no need for him, though if it was in SC i would definetly pick him. His action has changed a bit and he will definetly need time to get back to his best and to full fitness.
there are other left-arm spinning allrounders like zafar gohar who are better than kamran ghulam.Even hassan khan might be a better pick than him.In kamran ghulam's case you can't say whether he is bowler or a batsman and he is certainly not good in both departments.Have to say amad butt also belongs to a similar breed.

yes we have shadab but I am not just talking about WC.We are going to play many bilateral series in the SC in the future
Zafar Gohar is probably the best left arm spinner in Pakistan and an excellent fielder too and has good potential with the bat, but unfortunetly he hasn't developed his batting yet which is a shame. I had completely forgot about him and i would infact prefer him over raza hasan in odi's. Coming back to Hasan khan he is an excellent fielder but as you say kamran ghulam is neither a bowler or a bastmen the same goes to Hasan khan too. At the moment is a darter and hardly spins the ball. He's got potential with the bat and needs to bat up the order.
I am not saying Kamran Ghulam is some world beater but he at the moment is a better option then Imad. But, We need a fast bowling all rounder which Fahim is perfect for anyway. We should stick with fahim and shadab as our all ronders.

Imad is a good hitter when he plays normal shots, time and muscle the ball. Thing is he tries to play touch shots like scoop and ramp which he's not good at.
Nawaz is an okay hitter but still he is better than Raza.

Here's the thing. When playing a spinner, you have to categorize them as spinners first. Out of all three, Raza is the best. With the bat, Imad is better. But Imad is a liability in the field and lazy in his work ethic. Raza took 20+ wickets in the QEA Trophy where bowlers 35+ were breaking records. He's no mug with the bat and I believe he scored a 30* in a low scoring match. The all rounder spinner slot has been taken by Shadab and we don't need two of them. Last time we did in ENG ( Imad and Nawaz ), we ended up 1-4. Raza should be in the LOI teams and Shadab in Tests because he has great potential with the bat.

He's got Amir like temperament. Big match player. Zafar has that killer instinct too.

There is no Amir temperament, he just tries harder during big matches and against India, then is mediocre during regular matches, we need consistent players like Hasan Ali

With Hafeez gone, we can easily utilize Malik's bowling more. He's underrated as a bowler. Took 3 wickets today in the BPL too.

Before that? You know he hardly ever gets to howl and even when he does it's only for 3 or 4 overs, never even gets to bowl 6 or 7 whereas a lot of times Hafeez bowled his whole 10 and didn't do anything too amazing either.

Yaar Raza hasan was a special kid as far as T20's were concerned and he bowled pretty well in Internationals as well before the ban.I usually know which players are good enough to survive in competitive cricket
It's not that Malik is a bad bowlers but our bowling linup needs someone who can choke the batsman like Hafeez.We have got wicket takers in the form of shadab,hasan.My elder brother has always said that malik is a kind of a bowler who bowls well till he starts getting hit and when that happens he is just clueless.

Imad is very good at stopping the runs. Not uncommon for him to bowl 10 overs for 40-odd runs.

Well Hafeez is banned so no need to talk about him and I agree that Malik can be useful at times with the ball but when he does get an oppurtunity to bowl lots of overs he isn't very impressive like what happened in the England tour of 2016 but I'm still up for him to be used as it is 2017 and as long he's better than Nawaz.

He is the most shrude limited overs spinner in Pakistan at the moment and knows how to play with batsmen’s mind. Yes ahead of Umar Khan whom I tipped to do big things in PSL and he did.
In Quaid e Azam One day Cup 2018 Raza Hasan took 12 wickets in 7 matches @24 at an Eco of 4.66.
In National T20 Cup he took 9 wickets in 8 matches @17 and Eco of 5.61 (mostly bowled in power play)
More over Raza has scored a Classy FC hundred in QEA semifinal and he also scored a fifty against strong England A bowling line up.

Zafar has been in pretty decent form in last 5-6 months in white ball cricket and Raza has also done decently.
Was surprised Raza Hasan didnt get a place in PSL. Malik knows him from Sialkot Stallion days and should have pushed for his selection in Multan Sultans over Nauman Ali.

This is not true. In Quaid e Azam One day Cup Zafar was slotted at number 43 amongst top wicket takers of tournament where M Irfan (leggie) was highest wicket taker of tournament.
Raza Hasan has been part of LQ and was not given adequate chances. He should have been picked by LQ. Nauman was amongst top domestic performers hence he was picked but next time he won’t be picked as he is old, not very fit and hasn’t impressed in PSL.
After National T20 Cup I was expecting any of PSL franchises to pick Raza given his ability to choke oppositions in power play. Sadly it did not happen. Hopefully he will be back next year.

Zafar Gohar played 5 matches in QAE one day cup and took 7 wickets @33 with economy of 4.86. Yes this is by no means extra ordinary but then he also performed well in national T20 as well where he took 8 wickets in 7 matches with 2nd best economy among spinners with 5.95 (Raza Hassan was the best with 5.51). While Mohammad Irfan was the highest wicket taker in both domestic tournaments but he wasnt able to live upto the expectations in limited oppurtunities he got in PSL while Zafar also performed in every match he got a chance in PSL. So in my opinion he had decent performances with white ball in last 6 months.
I think if someone is in the radar he doesn’t necessarily have to be highest wicket taker in every tournament, yes he better not be getting absolutely hammered though. I believe if you know someone has the ability to so the job at international level, it shouldnt just be based upon how many wickets he is getting at domestic level otherwise none of Hassan Ali, Shadab Khan, Shaheen Shah, Hasnain or Faheem would have been playing for Pak let alone in WC. Or Jhye Richardson, Bumrah, Kuldeep etc just to give examples from other teams as well where these guys weren’t regularly the top wicket takers before getting selected for their national team.
If other players can be picked on talent and potential, then ignoring Zafar Gohar and Raza Hassan just because they couldnt play a lot of PSL matches to prove is not on I think.
Also selecting Yasir over Mohammad Irfan if they had to opt for leggy shows that there is not much weight given to domestic performances if you dont back that up with a good PSL where many dont get an opportunity.
The problem is his reputation. Teams are reluctant to pick him.

If Pakistan wants wickets in middle order they should go for Raza .
Imad is a better batsmen , but Raza is far ahead in terms of bowling. If I was the captain I would go in with Raza , shadab and Raza together.
