Can Sadaf Hussain get a chance to play PSL season 3?

I wish he does, as it’s his best opportunity to become recognised globally and by the selectors who ignore him. If he performs in the PSL, selectors have no justification for not selecting him.
Then again, unfortunately, I doubt he will be selected by any teams, if he has been snubbed for the first 2 seasons of the PSL.

The most interesting thing about Sadaf is his list A record 99 wickets in 46 matches at an average of 19 which is better than Hasan Ali but never has he been selected for ODIs.
In the past bowlers averaging over 30 have been given a chance in ODI but not Sadaf an injustice or what and no team wants him for t20 although it's not really a fast bowlers format.

And Sadaf haters should realize now that without seeing (or after watching 2 minute youtube videos of) him they cant tell a player, who has all time great domestic stats, as ordinary. I have seen him in live match plus on TV playing for Pakistan A and in my opinion he is certainly better than a lot who played during 2010-2017. Together with great stats he got peer appreciation too. Unfortunately Pakistani awaam look at pace only and haven't watched him enough. There is a reason why a mediocre bowler like Wahab played so many matches.

Thats more due to lack of motivation after being consistently overlooked.

Nobody can tell me this guy is not good enough. He was picked on the tour of WI in 2011 but was later dropped from the squad without playing a game. Why was he picked if he was not good?

This guy has a swinging yorker ALA starc. Doesnt have the pace of 140 clicks but other attributes like his height and swing cannot be ignored.

I feel like he is past his prime now, his FC performance in terms of wickets column has decreased in last 2 seasons. Abbas fared better than him in last season. He was taking 10 fers for fun 4-5 years back, now five fers are coming occasionally. I hope once he gets noticed, he will fire up.

I have seen him bowl in list A unlikely his pace is over 85mph peak however the action is similar to Junaid but he's taller.
When Waqar was coach he preferred Wahab and Rahat who despite bowling 90mph failed to deliver pace is only effective when combined with accuracy otherwise mediocre performances will follow.

He never played a T20 at domestic level. And with current crop of Pace bowlers, he has no chance in PSL. He is more suited to Longer format but the competition is getting harder with emergence of Ruman Raees, Shinwari as far as Pakistan team is concerned.

Sad to see posters here portraying as Sadaf only took wickets this season. He has performed all over Pakistan in different conditions and is a consistent performer for 7 years now. Not just First class he has incredible stats in one days too. Don't know what would they have felt if they were in Sadaf's position. Before anyone give Fawad's example, Fawad atleast played quite a few international matches for all of us to see him while poor guy Sadaf never got a chance as Pakistan continued with mediocrity like Anwar, Wahab, Bilawal, Tavir, Rahat etc... Sadaf's non-selection has more to do with some external reasons rather than cricketing reasons.
