Without stating the obvious the first session tomorrow will be key. Faheem and Shadab have to settle in again plus the new ball is due. We could therefore still crumble for less than 300. Ireland are no mugs, if you compare both squads FC numbers, Ireland have probably played 300/400 more first class games than this pakistan team has combined. Having said that a score of 320-350 should put pressure on them, especially after missing an opportunity with Pakistan 150 odd for 6. Pakistan will need to bowl well up front, irish first 4 are very experienced, Ed Joyce is a test match veteran for England, shame age is catching upon them otherwise i believe Ireland could really cement themselves in the middle grounds of the test elite very easily, and quickly.

Ireland squandered a good opportunity to bundle Pakistan under 200 as they had good bowling conditions.

Now they have a huge mountain to climb. Even though a day has been lost I think Pak should win this comfortably by Day 5.
