Castle Rock and Sharp Objects

Both shows in their first season, the latter written by the great Stephen King ( who could probably churn up a 400 page book about a homicidal paper clip) and the former by Gillian Flynn of Gone Girl fame amongst others.

Now, both were great until the last episode, Castle Rock especially but during the finale Sharp Objects was much better unlike the total mess that was CR. The final line in Sharp Objects really gives you goosebumps although it was somewhat easy to figure out in the last 15 minutes or so.

Both could have sequels, CR specifically as Amy Adams as declined to continue her role in Sharp Objects IF there were to be a season 2 due to the emotional toll it took on her.

Wanted to know how people who have watched either one or both (in comparison) here rated it.

Loved Sharp Objects. It built very slowly toward the big revelation in the final seconds. Amy Adams was transfixing.

Will give this a go especially with KING at the helm
