China’s weapons systems vs Indian indigenous weapon system - which one reigned supreme in recent India Pakistan tensions 2025?

India's missile shield worked well in the recent encounter with Pakistan, I really underestimated India's home grown talent...





Mashallah, AkashTeer looks like a real game changer, really excited at India's progression here, along with India's defence exports how hitting 2.5 billion a year is a great feat.

When my Italian ammayi Sonya was incharge exporting anything meaningful defence wise was nothing more than a pipe dream...

Even Pakistan’s former PM also of the same opinion. When Imran Khan was prime minister he visited Russia on the eve of Russia-Ukrain war. Many eyebrows raised on IK’s said visit because Ukrain was supplying uranium to Pakistan for many years. It was expected from Pakistan to support Ukrain on the eve of war. IK had tried to impress Russia so that they can give some Russian weapons to Pakistan, but Putin was not fool…. Any country can’t shift policy overnight. IK was a great cricketer, but he was a newbie in world affairs.

Later upon his ouster from PM post, IK openly praised and admitted India’s foreign policy

The way Bharat deployed the S-400 system, especially compared to how Russia has used it against Ukraine, shows how far we’ve come in tech integration, real-time tactics, and effective implementation. We used the Russian tech and deployed it a lot more effectively.

Honestly, it’s impressive. Systems like AkashTeer are proving to be game changers, and I agree our indigenous talent has really stepped up. With defence exports now touching $2.5 billion annually, it’s clear we’re entering a new era.

Hard to imagine this kind of progress back when certain leaderships didn’t prioritize or believe in Indian defence capabilities. The transformation has been nothing short of remarkable.

More indigenous capabilities will allow us to export more. There is a huge market already to be captured. Not many countries out there can afford ridiculously expensive Western stuff.

The goal is to hit 5 billion a year defence exports by 2028, read a report on it, cant find the link.

I can see technology like AkashTeer would be in high demand in the years ahead for Indian defence exports.

Western world is now closely watching, they do not want India's defence exports to take off as it has the potential to seriously take a bite out of their pie in a few decades... India needs to be careful here, expect sabotages, mysterious deaths of a few of our very talented scientists, Engineers etc..

Now if India can somehow solve the jet engine riddle and create their own fully indigenous power plant, then Watch Outtt 😉

Of course Chinese weapons system is far more superior and it definitely reigned supreme in the recent conflict (which was why India asked for a ceasefire in less than 5 days).

Keep dreaming. Your air force is grounded. You failed to shoot down a single Pakistani aircraft using your much vaunted s400. Your technology has been hacked. You cant fly over kashmir in war time any more. Wait till we get some stealth aircraft. You won't be able to do anything. Continue exporting your weapons. They are not that sophisticated other than the Brahmos which is a Russian missile anyway. And we took out plenty of those too.

You have no network. No real system of warfare and are now scrambling to catch up. If our poor PAF did this to you, imagine what a full PLAAF will do to you. Every single one of your Rafaels will be shot down by J20's. Every one. And your pilots won't even see it happening. We used Pl15's. They have PL17's now. And their radars are even better than the ones we have. So of you can't fight Pak. You can't fight China so what's the point? Perhaps sign a peace treaty and let's all try and uplif our people...

Really? Who and where. Your own senior officer admitted your losses. We have verifiable evidence. The west won't fully admit to it because then they will have to admit their tech isn't all it's cracked up to be.but even then they have admitted at least two rafaels went down. We now have visual conformation of your Russian junk being shot down too. Your IAF is grounded as of now..they ran back 300 km like cowards..

India has made a massive blunder by pivoting to West and antagonizing China.

I think it was 2019 when president XI visited India and told Modi that this region can prosper together. Only reason I can think of India rejecting that option is because that would have meant normalizing relations with Pakistan and solving the kashmir issue. Their hatred for Pakistan (Muslims) drives their foreign policy and they have chosen to align with declining Western powers because of that.

Few smart people in India (even military guys) understand this and we may see India pivoting back to China if they can tame their hindutva fervour but that is unlikely in near future.
 
This former Indian officer thinks that Pakistan is so well embedded with Chinese tech and after their recent performance against India where PAF had a clear edge, Pakistan may try to utilize that edge in a year's time by initiating a limited hot war.
Personally, I don't think Pakistan is in an economic position to do such a thing but still an interesting interview.

Yes so surprised at how easily it's cheeseboard radar got destroyed by a lonely jf17.

And so surprised how it failed to shoot down a single PAF fighter..hopefully youll by some more so.we can test some newer hypersonics on it.

$7–10 billion over the next five years is a realistic target. India is well-positioned to secure a significant share of price-sensitive markets by offering reliable, cost-effective defence systems, particularly in the less sophisticated technology segment.

However, as our defence industry matures and begins to offer high-end, advanced platforms for export, geopolitical alignment will become a critical factor. At that stage, we will need to consolidate our strategic partnerships and take clearer positions, even if it brings backlash.

Once we fully indigenise fighter jet engine and have secure supply chains it is game over for a few legacy exporters.

I see the Chinese were supplied with s 400 k, a simplistic version with out any advanced features. Russia shared advanced system along with the source code to India even adjust as per custom requirements. Chinese tried to reverse engineer the s 400 for hacking advanced features tech and introduce it in hq9 and 16 systems ( used by pak).it was not successful and Russians added kill switch functionality in Chinese exports to kill the system if Chinese tries anything mischievous. After all trust by Russia, Israel and us etc is more difficult than harbouring terrorists and killing innocents in the name of religion.

Where did Trump say India lost jets..you claimed 6 without any shred of evidence..India claimed 12 with two on ground damaged planes visible in satellite images...Trump said 5 6 78 jets downed but not of which country...only one country has thanked Trump for saving their lives..and that's not India. So we all know who begged for ceasefire. While we are at it...Trump is the same guy who claimed he brt pharma prices down by 500-600 percent..go figure.

Brother Pakistan did emerge from confrontation as a security guarantor. I have conceded this. It explains why Pakistan bagged Saudi Arabia’s security guard tender and also grabbing Libya’s strategic alliance. All that happened because despite all odds Asim Munir bailed Pakistan out bravely and cunningly both.

When a nation cripples another nation’s ability to launch meaningful aerial attack for months, you would imagine territories to be conceded but India didn’t gain anything and were rather convinced or pressurised to stop the Brahmos belligerence. Whether Indians agree or not, that’s a diplomatic win for Paxtan fauj dear
 
China is many times superior to India militarily and economically. It is not really a match. :inti

It is China that has grabbed 38000 sq km of Indian territory since 1962. Not the other way around. :inti

China have set their site on Zangnan (also known as Arunachal Pradesh). China are likely to get it at some point. :inti
