Christmas Magic

As the season is truly under way which will culminate until the new year. They do say that the Christians took over the pagan festival of Saturnalia as the mid-winter festival.

They say that there is no chance Jesus Christ was born in 25th of December. Tis a pity because at least I would have shared a star sign.

Anyways what I do wanna discuss is how Father Christmas defies logic to deliver presents to all the good kids in most part of the World. All in one night.!

How does he know who has been good or bad, I've not heard of Father Christmas having angels!

He does have reindeer and they fly without wings but stay pretty much in Earths atmosphere.

They say he is at North Pole but no one seen him, no evidence, I guess we have to take it on faith.

I mean the only other option is to say it is magic.

I can see the narrative, be a good kid, u get presents, bad kids don't. Dimples.

Why does Father Christmas need elves and reindeers?

As I'm growing older I'm.realizing kids need to be taught reality but slowly.. the more I read about how individuals turn up I feel maybe magic (aka religion) or faith with the mythological and unreal tales need to be told to children.

Why, probably coz it helps cushion them from the fears of the world, the world.is terrible and maybe this helps create better individuals, I won't go as to say to create better individuals,but I do feel faith/family/cartoons and festivals.like Christmas/Diwali/Eid could help with positivity.

Captain fantastic, the movie I feel highlights this aspect as well not to go too far away from the society..it can lead to issues.

The movie had an awesome scene where they celebrated Chomsky day instead of Christmas, very practical but I don't know how a child's mind takes it.

I forgot to add fans to the list of prople I'd like to extent early season greetings. I dont see why i have to be Christian or a native of the UK to give greetings. Not likening myself to them but Muslims were overjoyed and bemused when Obama and Trump gave Eid greeting to the Islamic world.

As to my participation. I grew up where celebrating Eid Milad is heresy, what do you think? Hopefully you can answer that one by yourself.

As part of the culture of the country rather thsn religion. We athiest havent got a book we have to abide by written in an language that it even confuses modern day Arabs.
