The sweep is on :ahmed
True, but I'm going to enjoy the win nonethelessWhich is not a big deal because we're not an established side. We've improved but still a lot of holes to fill.
I couldn´t watch the match, but HOW the hell did Hafeez score 81 with such a good strike rate???
Some one tell me pls![]()
Pakistan missing Imad, Shinwari and Junaid big time
there is no wicket taking opening bowler
He butchered Boult in the last over.
Bowlers were responsible for today's loss (apart from Shadab). Batsmen weren't that bad.
Oh please, 262 was never enough.
It's something that our bowlers almost made victory possible.
Mohammad Amir needs to be dropped, Pakistan can't afford his cowardly approach towards bowling anymore.
You can't just blame Amir, our best bower also did nothing. Rumman and Faheem were almost useless as well.
WHere I can watch online highlights ?

Lol Pakistan. It's not 1992 anymore. Quit thinking 260 is a good defendable score. it's not.
The CT win really did a job on Pakistan fans in that it's led them into this false sense of security that they're a good ODI side. Well I hate to tell you, but they're not. They're not even in the top 5 imo. (behind, India, SA, Aust, England & NZ).
They did incredibly well to win that CT, but I really think they were helped by having very little pressure and expectation compared to the sides they beat to win the thing, namely South Africa, England & India. That doesn't mean they didn't play well, because they did, but overall they just can't seem to play modern day one-day cricket, which is most of the time being able to score more than 300, and on a good day 350. They seem to score 250 most of the time and on a really good day score 290-300.
They really need to go back to the drawing board and learn how the game is played in 2018.
Your comment intimating that 260 was good enough sums up how far Pakistan cricket are behind the times.
Playing outside the UAE and on very good flat batting wickets will be a start. Our batting line up is now too conditioned to batting on the slow grinding surfaces of the UAE and Domestic Cricket.
That's no excuse, all teams have to adapt to all conditions around the world.
How does what you said explain how NZ managed to win last time they were in the UAE in the series against Pakistan, even with a 2nd string side (Boult, Southee, McCullum and Taylor all rested from memory). NZ have to adapt to low bouncing and turning conditions you get in the SC/WI/UAE and you guys havve to adapt to bouncier/ more seaming decks in the likes of Australia and New Zealand. That should go without saying as it comes with the territory of being an international cricket team.
The irony is Pakistan sides over the years have performed exceedingly well in NZ conditions. It just so happens that this current team isn't made of good enough players at this stage.
Where was this Grandhomme in that series deciding match against India (in India)?
Give some credit to indian bowler
