Confederations Cup 2017 Predictor Competition (PakPassion Official)

I can see a Chile-Germany final, with Chile to win. Only Portugal can stop one of these two teams from facing each other again in the final.
 
I peaked right at the start and seem to have fizzled out immediately after the first three games. :fizz

Regarding your second prediction, you don't need to predict the score twice. "Portugal 2-1 Chile on Extra Time" will go down as a correct prediction as long as the match finishes with that scoreline in Extra Time - even if all three goals are scored in Extra Time.

This is something that is compulsory upon all leaders going into the knock-out stage, that is, the last four games (don't forget the play-off for the third place).

I'll request all of you to be mindful of this rule after every match from hereon.

Yesterday`s semi-final was dull for most parts, but Chile really set the game on fire the second half of the Extra Time. Deserved winners. Clearly deserved a penalty too that wasn't given. Would`ve been an unfair result had they lost.

The keeper was awesome!

Guys, do not forget to make your predictions about the third place play-off between Portugal and Mexico!!! It´s on Sunday at 12 PM GMT.
 
Germany thrashed Mexico 4-1, but the best goal of the day, in fact the best of the tournament so far I´d say, was scored by Mexico yesternight. Wow, what a goal that was!

On the game overall, although Mexico had a better percentage of ball possession in the first half for the last 30-35 minutes and kept Germany on their toes, but what cost them badly was the fact that despite all that, they were hardly able to create a single substantial chance. It was like, they kept bringing the ball to the penalty area but never knew how to trouble the Germans beyond that.

A good part of my prediction has been fulfilled. This is a young and an under-strength by a good 70 to 80%, and they´ll learn with time, but Germany yesterday were very laid back after scoring the two goals. A big time loss of concentration. Chile will pounce on any such opportunities provided.

1. Some scorecards count a win in the penalty shootout as an additional goal. Therefore, "X 1, Y 1 - Y to win on penalties" as well as "X 1, Y 2 - Y to win on penalties" go down as valid predictions.

2. Yes, as one of the changes that I've brought in from the previously held competitions, giving the exact scoreline of the penalty shootout isn't required anymore.

The last chance that Chile got with seven minutes to go, it signified Chile´s loss yesterday. Countless chance, countless misses thanks to their inability to keep calm. They looked passionate to pick up fights with the opposition instead of calmly using their chances. They looked to be running away with the game until Germany scored the goal. From then on Germany played much better and were the deserved winners.

Not bad for such a young and inexperienced team. Really impressed.

But the way Chile played before that goal was brilliant. Most of the time the ball was near Germany's post. I guess luck didn't favour them....
 
Germany atm are too good. They won this tourny with second string players and they also won the u21 EC the other day. And 8 of the players who defeated Chile could have played in that U21 European Championships lols.
Big favourites to defend their title come the real WC next year.
