1st Asian team to win a test series downunder, won the ODI series (2-1) and drew T20 series (should hv won without rain).

Easily the best team in the planet earth. Many congratulations.

Too early to say..it's better not to be the best team. Otherwise it's get boring

Congratulations India. Truly world no.1 in tests and a pretender to no 1 in ODIs

Worth mentioning, only 3rd team to win both test and ODI series together in Australia in last 70 years.

Lets not forget Australia were without their first choice line of fast bowlers and ofcourse their top two bats, this series might end up doing India more harm than good.

Very well done - Winning ruthlessly away from home all be it against a weakened team.

No wonder! That's what #1 Team in the World is supposed to do! Just another day at the office for the Men in Blue!

Let it not be forgotten that India was playing without Pant Pandya and Bumrah as well.

See Sir Alex.. This was what I meant.

Weakened team due to absence of serial cheats...

I dont think they are serial cheats just one mistake and dont forget Australia didnt have to punish them so heavily as it only resulted in Australia losing all these matches.

As long as old man Dhoni is in the team he will be a liability and will be the reason for India bowing out at the World Cup. They need to kick out the oldies like Dhini, Raydu, Kedar jhadav, and get Gill, Pant, and Shaw in their lineup.

One mistake? Are you for real?

India with Kohli at his peak won against a toothless and declining Australia. Congrats to Indians but Cricket as a sports is declining and as a global fan of cricket I feel pain to see Pakistan, SA, WI, Srilanka, Bangladesh regressing. India is sustaining for now but for how long.

Brother those serial cheats were involved in many a scams in past. You check their DRS success ratio after they were caught cheating. You check their reverse swing ability after they were caught. Lord knows how many such scandals are waiting to be discovered.

Yeah, Eng was genuinely unlucky to lose to those cheats during last Ashes.

Good win. Now if India is able to repeat this by winning against a superb NZ side who are super strong at home then India could say they are ready for the world cup.

That is not going to be easy - with 325 being a par score there and NZ batsman after batsman looking to play attacking shots in post card sized grounds, I doubt we could match them in fire power (we are well stocked till 3 and it ends there).

Hoping for a better show in NZ this time as we have played in bouncy pitches down under. One thing is for sure though, NZ would save 25 runs on the field everytime and MSD and co are not going to get singles like how they did in OZ land..Nervous for sure!

Well done to India. Kohli is overseeing a very successful period for Indian cricket.

And hang on, that was just a mistake? No wonder some have greater acceptance for cheating.

These are speculations, So far only thing proven is they were caught trying to tamper the ball using sand paper. To be honest you cant get away with using sand paper so obviously so i doubt they used at least that particular tactics before.

Now their on field behavior was not great but that doesn't mean they were serial cheaters. In my personal opinion their punishment is sufficient but If ACB wanted they could have let them off with a lot less specially knowing those were hands down there best players.

Yes Australia was missing their main player "rain" in first three tests. In fourth test rain managed a draw. Rain even helped t20 series to drawn. Hail rainman

You seem to think that BCCI banned Smith and Warner. Just one mistake? No. More like, "just caught once"

Why are you so sad? Cheaters got caught finally and were punished. What is there to feel sad about it? Oh because India won? They would have won anyway as they are a better team. AUS lost a bunch of ODIs with Smith and Warner before they were banned. Take comfort in that fact.

India have yet to select there best odi team .the team that will give a best odi team england run for there money.medicore player( for indian standard) kedar jadav, danish kartik, jadeja ,shankar, khaleel needed to be booted out and select quality player shaw, agarwal, mavi etc

Congrats to India but let us not forget this was an Australian ODI team without the following :-

1. Smith
2. Warner
3. Bancroft
4. Starc
5. Hazzlewood
6. Cummins
7. Pattinson

That's 7 of the finest Aussie players.

You forgot Faulkner who has been unjustly ousted from the team.

I know but i already added 4 pacers there so it wouldn'tif he comes in one of the other star pacers must sit on the bench.

be fair adding Faulkner who's a class ODI player but

Pattinson is cannon fodder in List A matches.

lol as if pant is gonna set the world on fire..

he is good for tests not odis

Same with Smith, he is even worse than Dhoni in ODI.

First, Australia is playing in their own country.
Second, India doesn't have Pandya, Pant and no.1 ODI bowler bumrah.

Sooo bad for Aus and some of the fake aus supporter in PP that they lost a series with this age-old and depleted India team.
I can sense some burning. :yk2 Please grow up and appreciate other effort and success.

But Sarfaraz thinks India might be scared of playing against Pakistan :D (seriously we need to consider right people for top posts who have the sense on how to speak on behalf of Pakistan)

Well done to India!

Yeah and while we are a it, lets also include Border, Waugh brothers, Ponting and why not the great Dennis Lillie and the Chappell brothers.

I don't think India won this one bit or even deserved to win. This series was handed to VK and his team by the Aussies (read sarcasm, if you missed it)

Well done India. Genuinely envious of their team. Varun live it up mate. :D

Can't take anything away from India. They deserve all the credit in the world for an outstanding tour.

Good comeback by India after the disastrous tour of England.

To those who think Australia are badly weakened by the loss of two of their batsmen, it is the replacement of these two who have failed to step up and grab their chances. It shows the lack of bench strength in Australia.

In tests, India too played without their first choice opener (injured), first choice keeper (injured) and first choice spinner (injured), but their replacements, unlike the replacements of two Australian banned players, performed so well that the first choice Indian players were not missed.

Even in ODI, India did not have their first choice pacer Bumrah, and many would say that Dhoni is a liability, still India won in ODI. So, it is bench strength of India that saw them through.

You are Spot On.

As an Indian fan, I too want these 3 new talents along with Shubman Gill, who have displayed tremendous skills so far (given the limited opportunity) to be included immediately in the main squad.

Probably, the only thing which is holding back the selectors from picking these new talents in ODIs is that the WC is only 4 months away.

I hope we get thrashed in NZ badly, so that these new players are selected. LOL.

Congrats to India! As India has finally proven themselves abroad I can only see positives coming for them in the future from now.

Good job by India. I hope they make the right selections for the WC. We need Pant and maybe Gill. They should also try out a few of the young pacers in the remaining ODIs before the WC.

Why not, it's the weekend.

The ODI win was okay, but the test win deserves celebration.

Honestly can't remember who won the T20s now haha.

You seem to think that BCCI banned Smith and Warner. Just one mistake? No. More like, "just caught once"

No I dont think BCCI banned them, It clearly says Australia didnt have to punish them so much. And its not guilty until proven otherwise.

Its nothing to do with who Won. The point is their punishment resulted in Australia becoming a joke. Its not just India who benefited from them being banned some other countries like Pakistan also enjoyed an easy ride.

India would still have won

Yeah just like they did in the World Cup semi final?
Or for that matter in the series that was played just before with Starc and Hazlewood playing in it.

Celebrate what you have done but don’t think you have won what you haven’t.

Doesn’t matter who played and who didn’t. India faced an Australian side in Australia and defeated them in Tests and ODIs. That’s all that matters.

If that’s all that matters for you and you are happy about it, it’s fine and you can enjoy it.
Never stopped you off being happy over it.

But cricktely speaking this ODI series was nothing spectacular from India. Actually they should worry more after it as they just managed a win over a very average side.

Well certain team got their *** handed in their home and abroad...let them downplay India's success a little, too much misery for them in too little time :)):))
