Let's not forget the huge hassle it was for them to hold the PSL in Abu Dhabi at a time when the UAE Govt had announced travel restrictions on individuals from India and Pakistan.

I am pretty sure that they had to pay big sums out of pocket to host the tournament in the UAE and hence their profits suffered a hit this season but the tournament had to be completed now because there was just no other window available because the BCCI will ensure that the IPL will be held and completed this year which means all other T-20 leagues will take a hike.

Now that the tournament has been completed, the PCB will collect their dues from the Broadcasters, Sponsors and Title Sponsors.

Was a tough task but hopefully lessons learnt from what happened in the first leg.

Not a fan of Wasim Khan, but he has earned my respect with the perfect execution of this tournament in Abu Dhabi. They threw just about every obstacle in his way, but he fought like a champion and delivered successfully in the end.

What congratulations? They bottled it twice in two years including in February earlier this year when the COVID situation in Pakistan was very manageable.

PCB deserves zero credit. Completing the tournament in UAE after sabotaging it in Pakistan under fairly normal circumstances is the bare minimum that they could have done.

It is absurd to compare it to the suspension of IPL because India at that time was in a full-blown crisis.

BCCI had Pakistan's mistakes to learn from and still made fools of themselves by trying to keep the IPL going in the face of a growing disaster in the country. Give it a rest, you should learn to choose your times to bash Pakistan cricket, it would be more effective that way.

From Andy Flower:

"This surface in Abu Dhabi has provided a really fair challenge for batters and bowlers and we have seen some sensational cricket so, I hope Pakistan cricket is growing through everyone's exposure to PSL and I would like to say thanks to the PCB for re-arranging this at such short notice and putting such a great show on and allowing some of these players to fulfil their dreams which is wonderful for a personal basis for them and obviously great for us as a team - the PCB should look on this with great pride"

Great second leg with some people pulling their socks up.

Really feel bad for Blessing who's being wasted with his talent. I can see this kid getting an IPL contract else if he doesn't, happy to see this young man along with Jongwe come the next PSL.

everyone can make mistakes, but was surprised at how professionally the second leg was handled, up until playoffs was worried that something bad may happen. the exclusion of umaid and haider was a surprising positive too, good to see organisers show some spine for a change.

First India lost and then PSL was completed successfully, I know you must not be feeling good but still you can say some good words about your country for a change.

Well done to the PCB.

It would have been challenging to arrange the second leg whilst securing international players. All whilst Covid continues to present new challenges.

Pleased everything went smoothly.

This was absolutely a great achievement to complete the tournament. PCB/Wasim Khan should be rightly so accredited for this.

Lol, i would say its easier to take action against nobodies like Haider Ali and Umaid Asif vs someone like a Wasim Akram, Wahab Riaz, Babar Azam e.t.c.

This company the PCB hired to manage the Bio Secure Bubble is paid a very handsome fee but they use GPS to track everyone's movements, activities in the bubble and anyone committing the slightest violation is detected immediately.

The next edition of PSL should include two young batsmen as emerging players. They should be given a chance to play at least 3 games. No quality young batsmen are coming through.Young fast bowlers are plenty we need good batsmen.

Emerging player category for each team should have one batsman and one bowler each in the playing eleven.
Foreign players can be reduced to 3.

I just dislike cricket in UAE in general. Slow pitches. I hope we play all our next series back in Pakistan.
