Consequences of PCB's T20 leagues clashing with BCCIs T20 leagues

I identify myself as a male cricket supporter, and a consider test matches as the highest form of the game. Today got up at 4:00 am to watch the both the wpl games and enjoyed Grace Harris finishing the game for UP.

May I ask why?

Women's cricket is quite enjoyable, I sometimes watch it when there is nothing else on.

But I dont think I'd ever watch any league match at 4am never mind a woman's league.

Are you a fan of the woman game in general or watching because you are IPL fan?

There is more passion and heart in women’s game. These athletes chose this game when there was not a lot of money involved in it so, they play for the love of the game. Also it’s less gimmicky than the other choice. I watch IPL as a casual viewer, don’t get into it as much as I do for international game, especially Test matches.

Brilliant and good for you. But you are in a small minority.

Thats as good a reason as any.

Hope you enjoy the tournament!

@bold: prime eg of this is Harry Brook. Last PSL he scored a 100 and in this year's auction he went for a cool 13.25 Crore INR. Though to be fair he also followed it up with consistent performances for his national side too.

And Tim David too.. that Kohler guy will be next..

PSL Needs to go head to head with IPL

The IPL window is a great opportunity for the PSL to play at the same time. PSL will lose nothing in terms of an audience as the audience is PKs and they will watch the PSL, and what's more because of the window, we will pick up some very good players that don't get picked for the IPL. The other factor is that Ramadan will start to overlap with the PSL in the next few years. The better weather in March-April will also help to improve the crowd experience.

While most of the foreigners in IPL don't play PSL, we would still lose the best foreigners that we do get. Like Rashid Khan, Tim David, Harry Brook, David Miller and so on.

You'll give some Indians here a field day in directly comparing viewing figures, balance sheets and TV rights. They'll be squealing at the thought.

Meanwhile India's trophy cupboard will remain bare. #priorities
