Bangladesh is a nobody in international politics. Also, I think the Bangladesh population would think otherwise. They will want to support the Kashmir freedom struggle similar to how they freed themselves in 1971.

Assam the largest and most populous of the NE states does not have a special status. Same goes for Tripura.

Rest of the states have a special status but that’s not because of any active insurgency. It’s more to maintain the tribal customs and land, a case which is not true for J&K. Despite this states like Nagaland and Manipur have an active insurgency where they want to separate to protect their tribal lifestyle. They are being dealt with in the same way as Kashmir.

Wrong. Most NE states comes under article 371 which gives special status provision for different states.
