He said it live just now :))

Chinese President Xi told Nawaz Sharif that CPEC was a gift to him, "Mr PM it's for you" Xi said to Nawaz!

What a clown.

Remember his claim that Clinton offered him $5 billion personally?

Yeah, he mentioned that too. I can't believe what I've been hearing in his press conference. Utter denial and conspiracy theories is all I've seen and heard

Nawaz's disqualification will not affect CPEC: China

BEIJING: China affirmed its stance on the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) as its Foreign Ministry’s spokesperson Lu Kang on Friday said that Nawaz Sharif’s disqualification as prime minister would not affect the CPEC project.

On the Supreme Court of Pakistan’s verdict which disqualified Nawaz, Kang said that the ruling is Pakistan’s "internal affair" and would not affect bilateral ties between the two countries.

Someone should tell him China don't care what happened to him ot his govt. Chinese govt official statement today was "That the ruling is Pakistan’s "internal affair" and would not affect bilateral ties between the two countries and Nawaz's disqualification will not affect CPEC"

Now compare it with IK's press conf yesterday after the massive victory. Humble no arrogance and all about issues no personal attacks.

But I thought CPEC was for NS only. I think China are playing mind games and will withdraw from CPEC entirely...

As Naeem Bukhari says "How do you people look in the mirror" These people are hardcore scammers, whether you laugh or cry at such claims but don't forget there are plenty of people who will totally fall for this.

This man is either too dumb or he believes all the lies that are fed to him by his darbaris. In any case how did we Pakistanis mess up so bad that we had a person like him as PM for three terms.

Summary of Nawaz Sharif Press Talk:

Metro.......Me...........Roads....Highways.........Motorway.........Metro......Me....Alhamdulillah

After uttering this load of hogwash, he claimed that he's not being "Apna Munh Mian Mithu".

Patronage and Kinship poiltics. It still exists and will continue to unless many IKs pop up in mass movement parties to steer politics to actual democracy, justice and accountability. This is just the start, I hope people realise there's a long way to go.

As someone on ARY said a week or two ago, if building big things (in a particular area of the country) is all that is required of a PM, Rehman Malik should be made PM of Pakistan.

I was actually feeling sad watching all those senior MNAs/MPAs "haan main haan milaate hue" and making him look like the second coming of Abraham Lincoln. Laanat apki decades long politics per if you can't ask questions in democracy. (Mods please don't edit or delete this word)

I missed most of the visual someone please confirm if our Chui Nisar Sahab was there?

The people are the problem if the state of the general public on the stupid game shows is anything to by.

It's not always the people who are responsible. They're caught in a vicious cycle of stupidity and need some help to break free.

In most areas in Pakistan where institutional justice fails tribal or mob justice takes over. Even if democratic institutions do exist, they act within the umbrella of the tribal lords. So you'll even find some of the most educated folk retreat to their own clan/kin for support when local judiciaries and bureaucracies fail them. Their clan/braderi will usually be supported by some local big fish with connections. The big fish could be a police chief or a Zardari/Sharif stooge. This is how stupid peasants are formed.

These people need to break free from that feudalism and tribalism and it can only be done by restoring integrity and power in government institutions by ridding them of corruption. As Imran Khan has come to realise, that is no easy task.

He must be joking, another attempt to brainwash the people of Pakistan. Pathetic.

Wasn't there a statement just yesterday that was by China, stating that the current political instability has no bearings on CPEC. Nawaz Sharif needs to get his facts straight, he knows without the PM chair oosko koi nai poochi ga thus he's coming out with these nonsense statements. Remember FORMER Prime Minister, the world doesn't revolve around you and you are a no one with Pakistan.

Still, can't believe he has the audacity to come out and give a press conference, sharam kei bei koi haad hothi hei, you have just been disqualified and have countless charges of corruption and falsification on your family and you.

China on Friday said that the Nawaz Sharif's disqualification from public office would not affect Islamabad and Beijing's bilateral ties or the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.

Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Lu Kang, while reacting to news of the Supreme Court's verdict in the Panama Papers case, said during a press briefing: "We believe that the China-Pakistan strategic cooperative partnership will not be affected by the change of the situation inside Pakistan. China stands ready to work with Pakistan to continue jointly building the [One] Belt and [One] Road."

Terming the court's ruling ─ and subsequent denotification of the prime minister ─ an "internal affair of Pakistan", China expressed hope that various parties and sections in Pakistan could "prioritise state and national interests, properly deal with their domestic affairs, maintain unity and stability, and keep focusing on the economic and social development."

The all-weather friendship between China and Pakistan has withstood the test of times, Kang added.

The SC disqualified Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif from holding public office in a landmark decision on the Panama Papers case.

The judgement brings Sharif's third term in power to an unceremonious end, roughly one year before the scheduled general elections which would have seen him become the first prime minister to complete a full five-year term.

It is unclear at the moment who will be appointed to take over the post till the next general elections, which are scheduled for 2018. Speculation is rife, however, that Nawaz has suggested his brother and Chief Minister Punjab

There you go, what does Nawaz Sharif have to say about it now. "Gift" lol.
