Javed - played for Sussex before debuting against NZ. But, he did play in 1975 WC.

Akram played 1st FC match for PAK A against NZ & his 3rd FC match was a Test match. There could be few more.

Somehow relevant here: Ben "Big Ben" Wallace of Detroit Pistons went undrafted in NBA Draft of 1996.

Guy had to move to Italy to play basketball. Later when he joined NBA, he pwned the paint, won the championship, became all star and won NBA defensive player of the year multiple times. One of my favorites ever. Heck I had cornrows because of him
