Did minnow-bashing create false hopes for Pakistani fans?

They get to play most matches against teams like Zim, WI. They bash them like they should. Does this make the fans think that Pakistan is a very good unit. The moment they face a big team like India or NZ, they start wilting.

Please don't do bhangra the next time we string together a few wins against minnows and weak teams, and don't brush aside reality checks as "blips in the radar".

The New Zealand ODI series was a big and timely reality check but we did not pay any heed. Don't get your heads in the clouds over cheap wins - please learn from this. I will not be around forever to give you doses of reality.

One word Yes, I am a pretty realistic person and might be slightly pessimistic but even I was under illusion that we finally have a bunch of talented lads that can make our team quite competitive and possibly we can be in top 3 Odis nations in near future , but the bubble has been burst for me.

Yes. We have bashed minnows ever since CT17 and in b/w NZ tour came and we got owned. We didn't learnt from that. Tough tournament is about to end for Pakistan and even more tough tours are coming before the big WC19. There are only a handful of players that have the ability to be world class.
