Did Mohammad Amir prove himself to be another Mohammad Asif?

Asif was involved in fights, caught using drugs twice. Yet the guy did not care and even went further to spot fixing.

The reputation of Asif that had been developed was that he will keep on making mistakes.

One of the reasons why Amir was allowed back was the assumption, that he will owe up to his mistakes. He will learn.

But while Amir came back after serving his ban for fixing, he not only came back, but placed blame of his poor performance on different people. Never owed up.

Infact, when Amir talks about his ban, he talks in a tone that PCB and ICC was after him and that because he served a ban he should get leniency. He has still never owed up to what he did. Still places blame around.

So is Amir just another Asif? Will he just look to blame others and not owe up?

Think he is worse. The thing with Asif is we all knew his motivations early on. The guy also never pretended to be a saint. He was shady and he seemed to wear that like a badge of honour.

When you are dropped,you put your head down and work hard to get your place back. You don't make sly digs on social media. And now he has retired he is blaming everyone apart from himself. Pakistan is better off without cricketers who refuse to take responsibility and a fixer.

Unfortunately Amir is turned out to worse than Butt and Asif. He got special treatment from PCB and from us fans and at the end he took advantage of that.
I didn't like some of my college or University teachers but I didn't drop out. Very shrewd attitude and he should never consider to play in any form of Pakistan cricket whether its domestic, PSL or International.

Yes thats fine it should be lifetime bans or even imprisonment but since people are getting away i think then sharjeel needs to given a chance if hes scoring runs in domestic 4 day compition unlike amir who didnt want to play longer format for his country
