Did Pakistan have the right technical and strength/conditioning program for Mohammad Irfan?

I always think about this question often. Whenever i watch Irfan's bowling action, i feel that he is not making maximum use of his height and with the action he used, he was not bowling at a 100% strength.

Also Irfan's physique looked under developed overall and these things can contribute to injuries.

If Australia had a bowler like Irfan, how would they have utilized him and developed him?

He was not Wasim. Even in his good days he hardly bought us wickets.

If we missed the ship with bowlers. It should be Sadaf Hussain, Aizaz Cheema and Tanvir Ahmed.

Rest, be assured that our players can only decline in performance in current setup. Let it be Umar Akmal, Shehzad, him, M.Zahid, Yousaf or any other player.

You cannot start fitness at age 27yrs.

It starts at a very young age here in England.

He was simply to tall and not mobile enough

A 70% fit Irfan is still one of the best fast bowlers in Pakistan. Might even get more wickets with the new ball than Amir and Rumman combined.

Well 7 ft 1 is extremely abnormal so it's hard to know how much his lack of mobility etc is natural due to his height or due to bad conditioning program.

He was too old and too immobile. He should never have been picked. No pacr or variation. Terrible fielder and batter. Not international grade.

Afridi dropped him in 2010 for good reaaon.
