This same squad smashed NZ and ENG in the tri series in NZ in almost each and every match

They almost chased down 200 against ENG in the last T20I against ENG

It will be a huge thing if Pakistan manage to win even one T20I against them

They are one of the top 3 sides in T20I IMO

The ODI team, yes. But the T20 team has a few different players and most importantly a much better captain who is batting in his right spot - as an opener.

I don't think it's fair to equate the current Aussie ODI side with their T20 team.

I can't speak for what they did in the past. But I'm talking about today, after that maxwell's first over, nothing was top class and bowlers bowling terrible wides and misfields. Just a poor team on the whole and Fakhar s innings made all the difference. Brilliant knock.

Even our more experienced players like shadab, faheem, hasan ali, fakhar zaman have not played too much international cricket.
Only Malik, Sarfraz, Hafeez, and Amir can be considered experienced seniors.

Tye was the highest wicket taker in the most recent IPL. Wildermuth and Agar are poor but they could have picked Swepson or Neser from the same squad, or even Faulkner or Ashton Turner or Daniel Christian, it was their selection blunder. But don't think it would have made much of a difference. The same Agar bowled pretty well in the recent ODI series against England but was totally dominated by Pakistan. Credit needs to be given to opposition where due.
