Personally, I do not as the concentration of security at the stadium may compromise the security in other parts of Lahore and this could lead to a vulnerability against further terror attacks during the final given the security situation of the city in the very recent past.

Yes, but PCB should have shifted venue to Karachi, just to avoid global media mockery. Besides, if there is any incident not related to cricket, still everyone will go gaga, including Khan. Ideally, it could have been perfect to play the final at Multn - relatively calm town, great stadium & in between Lahore, Faisalabad & Karachi, more or less in central PAK.

I was very much for PSL Final in Lahore as it would send the message to the cricket world that Lahore is safe place for cricket. But with the recent blast the message has died.

Now we can play under the supervision of Army with all activities in 5 km radius of stadium halted but it will not gain anything.

Final should definitely be held in Pakistan ... the Government need to provide end to end security throughout. Surely that's achievable for a country with such a big army?

Would love to see cricket in Pakistan again but not going to lie, I am a bit nervous about having this final in Lahore under current circumstances.

If any thing happens it could be the final nail in the coffin for cricket in Pakistan, the PSL, and possibly Pakistan Cricket in general. There is just too much at stake here, which the gains just don't justify.

Does anyone actually believe playing the PSL final in Lahore is a good idea? Spending millions on a one of match to prove what?? I think Sethi and the PCB will ruin what was an exciting league by taking the final to pakistan and introducing mediocre players just to make up numbers. Also what is the difference between an overseas player and a pakistani life, too much importance is being put on trying to convince overseas players to play,lets start from home.

What are they going to achieve? None of the teams are going to tour anytime soon and cricket isn't returning to Pakistan this way where you lock down whole city for a damn match. This is only going to satisfy the ego of Sethi and those guys at PCB. You can't play with people lives just for a cricket match. Stop this madness
