We know its the season of gifts atm so a lot of you would be out there shopping or maybe you are getting ready to travel back home so gifts are a necessary evil :)

Do you enjoy shopping for them?

No, but if i do buy a gift it's gotta be real good.I don't mind spending money on something worth the money

With the global economy etc - gone are the days when you could bring someone in Pakistan with a shampoo made in UK :) The gift selection has become much more sophisticated and of course, amazon etc will deliver stuff directly too!

I would enjoy the fact that the person receiving it would have a smile for once because of this. And yes its about finding the best value for bucks. Best in a sense that it also be useful for the person receiving it. Since I am a poor folk, I dont go with expensive gifts, but something that may just prove valued for the person getting it.

As far as enjoyment is concerned, its as much as buying any regular thing. And Amazon (AliExpress in Pakistan's case) doesnt bring that sort of enjoyment as much as shopping live does. Maybe in my age-group it is more lively to shop in real world.

I thoroughly dislike the part of money leaving my pocket lol

Jokes apart I often overdo the gifts and end up spending more than I planned to, but as long as the people who the gifts are for are happy I'm ok with it.

Kapray press karny k baad dunya ka sab sai mushkil kaam shopping krna hai :(

I dont enjoy shopping for others. Its very difficult for me to decide what others will like :(

haha, it was MIG is correct here. :)

I remember as a small kid my family used to put a few bottles of Head & Shoulders in my little case!

I prefer to give money but will dont mind shopping for gifts if I'm on holiday.

I dont mind buying gifts for people going back home. I usually focus on the male relatives from my side of the family.

Firstly we draw up a list of recipients. Then I have a budget in mind.

For guys I usually end u buying shirts, ties, and small fragrance boxes. Each year for 2 cousins I get a Tablet. Chocolates I get from duty free as it doesnt eat up luggage allowance. Usually I fly out in December so the Christmas sales help save some money.
