Today new openers showed they can play according to difficult pitch too, and maintain 7-8 runrate if situation requires. So no need to go back to rizbar if these boys want they can inflate their averages too

I think he’s a worse bowler than the other three pacers. I also think there’s only room for one allrounder spot and Nawaz I think is better. But I don’t mind switching between Nawaz and faheem depending on conditions.
Let's see what they do when Shadab is back in the xi.

Great era so far without King and Kaptaana. We are losing to Bangladesh and utter mugs like WI are winning against us. Can we go any lower? People will stop watching this farce soon.

Hasan Nawaz has done incredibly, though I don’t think it makes a difference if Rizwan and Babar are in the side to him. Agha isn’t doing better than Babar middle order, but hopefully will improve. Saim looks encouraging but iffy at times, I wouldn’t say he’s cemented his t20 slot yet in the way Hasan Nawaz has, yet at the same time I wouldn’t drop Saim for a very long time regardless. Last innings was good, there’s was a bit of a worry he’d lost things a bit since the injury, including in PSL.

Farhan is probably the biggest difference. It’s weaker sides but he’s looked pretty settled, consistently scoring and pretty solid power and hitting which is something he’s worked on. I really feel like we might have won the Bangladesh series if he had played all games. If he can keep it up, it will really feel like a new era.

Shahid Afridi highlights reasons for Pakistan’s struggles in Test cricket

“The biggest mistake is picking players for the national team too early. Sometimes they’re selected just after one or two good innings in the PSL,”

“Playing for Pakistan should not be so easy. You must prove yourself at the domestic and first-class level first,” he added.

“The pathway to the national team should be tough so players understand the value of representing Pakistan,” he added.

“If you want all three formats to improve, first raise the standard of domestic cricket. Bring in good coaches and mentors at the lower levels and build a strong foundation,”

Speaking in a recent interview with a local sports platform, Wasim Akram expressed his strong support for the senior batter’s return to the T20 setup:

“If I had the authority, I would definitely include Babar Azam in the national T20 team,"

"The Asia Cup and then the World Cup are approaching, and we need a senior batter. Fans may recall that when he represented Somerset in 2019, he scored runs at nearly a 150 strike rate. He has the ability to adapt his batting according to the situation,”

“When we’re chasing 140 or 160, especially against big teams, we need someone who can take responsibility and carry the other 10 players along with him. Babar is among the world’s best players,"

"He adjusts his game to the format and match situation — he’s done it in the past and can do it in the future as well. Babar still has a lot of cricket left in him and can achieve much for Pakistan. We all need to support him,”

“The coach can play Babar at any position he wants. In my opinion, number three is ideal for him, but it will depend on the situation. If there are more overs left, someone else could also go in to bat first,”

Idk about new era but ba/riz aren't t20 players.

I back babar in odi and rizwan in test but thats about it.

Rizzu should be kept away from whiteball

Afridi is right. These intent and aggression merchants got exposed in BD and WI, they put up some really mediocre scores. The pitch excuse is a convenient one.

Hassan Nawaz the middle-order batsman is the only new face that has emerged during this new era drama. They won in WI because of Mohammad Nawaz, who is supposedly a TTF, but these delusional fans want to talk about new era :ROFLMAO:
