Anyone here from pak/india who went to do their masters in saudi?

What is it like? Are there many other pakistani students there? Is the language barrier a big issue? Are the tuition fees expensive?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

My first degree is from one of KSAs universities

Quality is good but which university is this?

It's more of a general qs. Preferably would be in Riyadh. My uncle got a job in riyadh and has moved there. My cousin is thinking of doing his masters in Riyadh for this reason.

Was your course expensive?

I was on a scholarship so didnt pay - depending on the university the standard of education is pretty good.

Lol good luck using that anywhere outside Saudi or gulf states. Even Uae and Doha based employers wouldn’t be too excited aboht that

Compared to a masters in pak it would probably be quite useful in pakistan

I genuinely think Pak university is better than saudi

Definitely if you're going to the big ones like Nust, lum's, IBM

Pakistani Universities in the 60s were of a good standard, far superior to most of the Muslim world.

Then we had one lunatic after another gutting our education system.

But I think even to this day our top institutions are better than saudi's

If it's between top Pakistani institution and saudi B school than my vote is going to Pakistan university

I have no idea about Saudi, but I'd really recommend trying to do it in the UK if you can. Yes, it's expensive for international students but it's quite easy to get into a Master's in the UK (unless you're applying for Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial, London School of Economics, etc) as long as you have a decent first degree you will be able to get into some good unis (Birmingham, Nottingham, Bristol, etc).
