Issssmmmaallll problem - PCB Chairman said ACB had apologized "privately" ..... so what's this?

Really disgusted with the way ACB have been going along with things lately, they don't have the right to act so prestige by treating the PCB like trash. Next time we face Afghanistan in a tournament I hope we throttle them hard and sledge a couple of their players to show them who's boss.

ExplicitAI what about banning them from psl???that will be right??/

Ungrateful and pathetic little man.

His players shamelessly use our facilities in Pakistan and get developed there and here he is trying to act big and tough, PCB should cut relations with this board. We are world champions trophy holders now, the greatest ODI team this side of the Himalayas, Afghan team isn't even fit to kiss this team's shoes let alone tie the laces.

Idiotic statement.I'd rather we ignore ACB now until their head honchos change.Don't give their players any facility to use.Unfortunate for the players but we need to do this.

Moronic from ACB. No reason to apologize?

Oh I don't know how it's a simple thing to call Pakistan a terrorist nation and how it promotes terrorism.

PCB is being polite here by letting ACB go off the hook with a simple apology. Any other bother who is not bothered about neighborly brotherhood would have been even more vicious.

ACB is in no position to bargain. They are a minnow team who cannot host top flight cricket for quite a while unlike Pakistan who can afford UAE. The ACB chairman should simply comply.

Please leave it my friend its Afghanistan being Afghanistan so it was expected.

Ban these below average, ungrateful associates from playing in the PSL and no need go maintain a friendship with them.

There has been a total of 1 Afghan cricketer in PSL, so it will have a big impact. LOL

Now a days every country has an Money league, so if there is an Afghan player good enough he will have plenty of places to play. Even Afghanistan have started their own league and it will be in UAE as well..

Yeah definitely, they can go play IPL if they want (not throwing shade at IPL at all, it's the best T20 league in the world) or any other league out there. They don't deserve our help or sympathy at all. Better to cut all ties off with them and let them wander about on their own.

Ban them for the PSL, Pakistan's domestic cricket and refuse NOC's to the Afghan T-20 League.

No point cursing the ACB - its the Afghan Govt who are taking this anti-Pakistan stance for domestic consumption.

These governments should keep politics and sport separate. Even US and Russia kept sporting ties open for most of the Cold War.

Why is pcb asking for an apology from Afghanistan? What did they do?

I'm not really concerned. Uganda can have a prosperous cricket league for all I care but I don't want to see Afghan cricketers in the PSL whether or not it has a big impact. After all that Pakistan and the PCB have done for Afghanistan and the ACB, it is downright hypocritical of the ACB Chief, of all people to even hold a finger towards Pakistan.

To involve politics with sport, like another of our neighbors is an unwise decision to make. I'm happy to see that the PCB is fighting for its rights and maintaining its integrity, even if it comes at the cost of not playing some minnows. Nothing comes before our honor.

Not sure whats going on anymore - maybe the ACB is being pressured by the Afghani govt.

The board makes an official statement calling PAK a "terrorist nation" and he feels an apology isn't warranted?

:))

Who gave this man a job?

Don't know why we want their apology anyway? They have shown their true colors, and we must reply in kind by stopping all kind of cricketing relations with them.

Saving face. It's common for them to lie if it means to protect their "honor" and "integrity", those are very important things in that part of the world.

The cricket should not suffer because of the opinion of an official. The players themselves are nice folks

lol are you serious, an official has much more responsibility so if he doesn't want to apologize then he's gonna have to face the heat.

Lol at the talk of mutual respect. As if calling the other country a terrorist encourager was so respectful.

PCB should flex their muscle and bring ACB to their knees till they tender an apology. Openly asking for an apology and being shot down is very embarrassing for PCB.

ACB should apologize for their statement. It was not their job to utter that type of harsh political statement. They should apologize and revive the cricketing ties. They should apologize for that. No wonder ACB has similarities in behavior like PCB. These types of hothead behaviors of ACB and PCB officials backstabbing cricket as a whole.

Oh nothing is embarrassing for PCB, believe me.

That said, ACB are at fault here.
