I would still say Pakistanis on average are bigger than Indians. This average is skewed up due to Pashtuns/Pathans, Punjabis, and probably an extent of central Asian Turkic mix among Pakistanis and skewed down due to South Indians and North East Indians for Indians. This is not taking away any athletic abilities of South or North-East Indians mind you.

This is probably a good case of nature versus nurture and how if internal processes are more efficient then nurture can outperform nature over a period of time. Indians developed a better process for professionalizing cricket (and probably other sports too) which more than nullified the physical advantages that Pakistanis have had over the Indians. As a Pakistani fans it is more frustrating for us when the governing body is so mismanaged that physical advantages (albeit however big/small it is) has been nullified by rampant nepotism+corruption+mismanagement in PCB (and our other sporting bodies).

You are only partially correct.. physical advantages are based on genetic diet over the years, as food science gets better in developing countries it will only result in physically better sports personalities, along with mental abilities.

The only major difference comes with race as those are entirely different set of physical abilities .

you realize that vast majority of current day Pakistan and even to an extent Afghanistan are nothing but descendants of converted Hindus/Buddhists/Jains/Sikhs ? In other words the stock DNA of both India and Pakistan is near identical.
