So, 14 english players playing in the PSL .... i know it will come down to individual choices but shld ECB not offer a series in Pak and ask individuals to play

ECB has been very supportive to PCB esp Mr Clarke and my 2 very favourites Naseer Hussain and Mike Atherton .... i think time for Wasim Khan to up the efforts to get england to come for a series ... which will be the biggest step for revival of cricket in pak

Well you are jumping the gun a bit. As yet there is no confirmation that all of the matches will be in Pakistan. We will have to wait and see regarding fixtures and who actually goes to Pakistan.

Forget about PSL, I am not even sure about the Test series against SL. Doesn't it start in 4 days time? Then why the SL team has not travelled to Pakistan yet?

If pSl is completed in Pak without any issues, and we have a big ( more than 8) contingent of English players , only then should Waseem khan make any moves

The fixtures have not been confirmed or announced.

I've asked Moeen and his reply was:

"I'm delighted to have been picked by Multan Sultans for the Pakistan Super League. It's been 15 years since I have been to Pakistan and I'm buzzing and really excited to be going there for the PSL"

Joe Root didn't even make himself available for the draft so we have no idea if he wants to travel to Pakistan or not.

Different players will have different attitudes towards travelling to Pakistan. Added to that the ECB have a duty of care for the players when they're playing for England, the local team/PCB is responsible for that when playing in the PSL.

Have they given the NOC yet or not?

The ECB don’t control which players can play in which franchise.

The PSL is a domestic tournament and each of the players have made an individual choice to participate ( or not) .... When you are talking about an official Eng tour, the threat matrix will be different and based on the security assessment for the team not an individual ..... i think you are conflating two very different things here .

None of Giles Clarke, Hussain or Atherton are part of the ECB at the moment by the way.

For centrally contracted players ECB will exercise during care and discretion before they are allowed to play anywhere else.
