I had work.
So, I went to Eid prayer, came back home, ate pulao and beef, and went to work after that. Prayed jumuah at the mosque near my office. This has been my day so far.
At night, I may play a bit of video game.

prayed eid namaaz at 8.30, saw some friends, went for a 2hr walk in nearby forest with bros and thr kids
prayed jummah at 1pm, spoke to fellow mosque goers, saw some other friends and some jamaati ppl were at the mosque.
helped maksing some food, eat food and chilled with family at home, then just read every namaaz at mosque (spent most of day with just family)

Prayed Eid Namaaz at my local masjid which is 3-4mins walk away. 9:30am.
Then went to a graveyard to make duas for all the moomins in there.
Went a bit early to Jummah, 1:15. The Jamaat was at 1:45pm.
Came back from Jummah to family home and ate roast chicken with rice and pita with beef curry a Bangladeshi Muslim home Eid tradition. @sweep_shot can vouch for.
Had some guests over. Fam made traditional snacks like Sondhesh, Noonerbora. Fuchka and Chotpoti too. Plus desserts.
Really enjoyed this eid with the family, cousins. Didn’t go out later like usually on Eid days. Instead spent the day with the other half with the family.

From my side, morning usually starts with prayers, then straight into hugs, duas, and calling family near and far. At home, there’s always something special on the table, a blend of traditions, maybe sheer khurma alongside some Persian-style dishes, so it feels like both sides of my roots are sitting together.
The day itself is about keeping it simple but meaningful. Visiting relatives, checking in on elders, spending time with close friends, and remembering those who aren’t with us anymore.
By evening, it’s usually relaxed, good food, long conversations, maybe a late-night chai session that stretches longer than it should.
The happy day starts when ummah establishes and maintains Allah advised purpose based proper way of life, rule of law and governing system for mankind in the human world purposefully properly and lives and abides by them purposefully properly.
