Emerging players in PSL 3: Will Shadab Khan and Hasan Ali still be considered emerging players?

Considering that Shadab and Hassan are both known commodities in international cricket, should they be considered emerging anymore.

Further players like Amad Butt and Mohammad Asghar who have been emerging now for two years should they be considered emerging anymore? Yes they havent played international cricket but emerging category is an oppurtunity and I think that two years are enough to use it and prove something. They both have already proved themselves especially Asghar, Amad still needs to work in his game.

To me emerging players category should be like graduation of two years.

Moreover, if we will have players who have played international cricket and those who have been playing as emerging for more than two years than a lot of upcoming players will not be able to get an oppurtunity in emerging players category.

Only team Multan is gonna have two new faces as emerging most probably.

There is no way Hasan and Shadab get a Emerging contract next season, that is for emerging players who otherwise might not get into the teams. Hasan and Shadab on the other hand are probably going to be amongst the first picks for their teams, i think both should get atleast the gold if not diamond or platinum contracts. Their easily better than most of the Platinum and Diamond players right now

I was reading a report in Jang some days back and it was reported that Hasan and Shadab both have been elevated to some other category,probably gold.

Nothing on Asghar.So I think he will be in the same category.
