Nauman Anwar is a horrible hack! Such high expectations from this kid but has very little cricketing sense.
 
Mashallah Nauman Anwar blistering away at 28(29) not out at the moment. Another one from the PP hype machine.

Ehtisam looking good. Nice smooth run up and action and looks brisk as well.
 
Ehtisham Sultan has played a total of zero First Class matches. Atleast that is what cricinfo says.

You are basing it off of a grainy video against amateur cricketers. He just got smashed for 10 off the over. So lets hold our horses before claiming him to be the best prospect since Hasan.

It is this sort of hype why duds like Irfan Jr. are rated so highly and then when everybody sees them play we realize how bad they are.

You're watching on grainy video, I am watching in HD.

And the action and run up and the way the ball lands tell you more about a fast bowler than his stats or one over.
 
And the fact that you think Irfan jr is a dud means you couldn't tell a prospect if it hit you in the face.

Anyways he looks more nippy then Muhammad Irfan Jnr. He can bowl yorkers, can bowl wide yorkers. And he has a very mean bouncer.

He got hit for 2 4s in his 3rd over but one of them was an attempted yorker that became a full toss.

He looks stronger than Muhammad Irfan Jnr

Lets see if we can get irfanullah shah's bowling tomorrow if we could get a chance to watch it live.

And lets hope that qalandars give chance to bilal shah and drop amir yamin

Both Irfanullah Shah and Ehtisham Sultan are brilliant prospects. Irfanullah is tall , gets a good bounce and seams it into the batsmen.

Ehtisham is tall too but is more pacier than Irfanullah Shah and gets a fair bit of bounce too.
 
I think, these matches will be considered as Other T20 (Not T20I) - in CI, I see them listed under T20 tournaments like PSL, Big Bash; so stats will go in players credit. If there were exhibition matches, then it would have been listed as Other matches (& might not been covered at all)

PSL and other T20 leagues are listed as "T20" - "Other T20" won't be added into stats. So these are essentially equivalent to exhibition matches I think.
 
Why does usman Qadir not get many opportunities. I thought he looked quite decent. I'm surprised he doesn't get to play FC cricket regularly

I think inexperienced English batsmen made him look awesome as they can't play even average spin bowling

They still won their game and are only behind on NRR, and I believe they'll beat the Lancs tomorrow and overtake them on points too anyway.

Zalmi meanwhile won their game and are 1st in their group.

Overall both Pakistani teams doing good which is always good to see.

Bit disappointing Haseeb Hameed withdrew, would of been interesting to watch how he batted in a t20 game.

He's 140+, no doubt. But I don't know if he can sustain it at this age. He's not that tall. Around 6'1 but high arm action and lanky.

Agreed. Bilal should be opening with Sultan. Yamin shouldn't be opening but he shouldn't be dropped either. They can either drop Bhatti or TTF Shahid Youseless.

Couple of months ago, he wasn't bracing very well. It shows there's been some good work being done behind the scenes.
 
Lahore Qalandars are playing Lancashire atm.

1 for Yamin
1 for Usman Qadir
And 2 for Raza Ali Dar
 
And Ethisham gets one with a very mean bouncer almost in the face.
Not sure whether the batsmen made contact with the ball tbh.
 
I think we saw this morning why our limited over cricket is so poor. Our domestic batsmen have no idea how to construct a modern one day innings. Any time they need to accelerate they became cross the line hacks! Try to hit ball hard as opposed to hitting gaps.

I watched Qalandars' rising stars matches. Ehtisham was the best pacer and was moving it both ways with new ball. And he is quciker than Hassan. Only worry is that he is under Aqib Javed.

Bowls a very effective bouncer.

Lahore Qalandars have a history of blunders. First the made Azhar their captain. This edition PSL, they dropped Zeeshan Malik and Ehtisham.

I am actually surprised at their decision making.Why in this world would you send Shahid Useless and other players over Saif Badar when you need some quick runs.Obviously,that doesn't guarantee sucess but that gives you an actual chance.They made him play at No.6 no matter what the situation.Just he has to come at No.6,full stop.Rediculous.
 
So it looks like Zalmi's dragged them selves to a somewhat decent total. Thanks to Musadiq for his 29 of 20 and Irfan for 14 of 6 at the end.

I watched Qalandars bat and now Zalmi and completely understand why we are having such a hard time playing the modern way.
