The good news for England is that Steve Harmison is likely to be able to resume. A spokesman for the ECB said that he had "responded well to treatment". He added: "It doesn't seem to be as serious as was first feared. He has not been sent for a scan or X-ray and as long as there is no reaction overnight we would expect he will be able to bowl." Another source said that he had suffered nothing more than a "tweak".

9.50am Steve Harmison is warming up on the outfield and Andrew McGlashan, our man on the spot, says he looks OK and is moving fairly freely - unlike Andrew himself who is suffering after a late night with the npower girls.
