Why don't we see these performances against India?
Atleast Australia imploded chasing 200 against a more regular side. This is a mere 112
The story is tainted by how their fans behave in the stands from time to time. The behavior they have on the field against Pakistan. The racist slurs and small mentality.i feel happy for the afghan crowd that they have a sport for whcih they can go to grounds and cheer for.
lovely story this afghan team has

Well played Afghanistan. Would have been great if they made 135-140. But they pushed Poms and their NRR didn’t get a big hammering.
Livingstone the only batsman who has come out looking good for England.
I wonder why Afghanistan went off the boil with 20 runs to go. Could have brought field closer etc. One more wicket and things could have become interesting. Intensity is very important. Can’t be off based on opponent.
they needed to bowl the qouta off fareed.
Mujeeb was done, and rashid was being saved for one last trick. One over had to be squeezed in by the pacer, which is why Fareed was bought in but was attacked.
Sam Curran delivered a memorable bowling performance in the Super 12 encounter of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup against Afghanistan in Perth on Saturday as England bowled out Mohammed Nabi's men for a meagre total of 112. England chased it down later with five wickets and 11 deliveries to spare.
The England bowlers kept the Afghanistan batters under pressure right from the beginning of the match. They restricted the Afghans to less than six runs per over in the powerplay but there was still some hope for Mohammad Nabi's men as they had wickets in hand. That didn't matter in the end, though, as Curran bowled a superb spell to bundle them out for 112.
He claimed the wicket of a well-set Ibrahim Zadran in the middle-overs and then came back at the death to pick up four wickets and complete his five-for. The left-arm pacer registered figures of 3.4-0-10-5 in the end.
A brief scare for England but all ends well
England got off to a steady start with Alex Hales and Jos Buttler putting on an opening stand of 35 runs. But they suffered a brief scare in the middle as they went on to lose four wickets in the space of just 46 runs. Afghanistan could also sense that they were back in the game.
But Liam Livingstone stepped up and scored an unbeaten 29 from 21 deliveries to guide England home.
What's Next?
This win also gave England a significant boost in their NRR, which stands at +0.620 right now. Afghanistan fought well with the ball but this loss has left them with a NRR of -0.620 and they will need to work really hard to improve it.
