I'm still fuming about this. One of the worst chokes in recent memory. Warner's dismissal is probably what really changed the game, and it was very poor shot selection. Exposing your stumps to a guy bowling at nearly 150kph when there's very little scoreboard pressure is brainless.

Smith is the one to blame. His role is to anchor and Australia needed 39 from 35 with 9 wickets in hand. Instead he played a stupid aggressive shot on the back of criticisms that he needs to up his strike rate in T20s.
Reckless and completely unnecessary dismissal from someone whose very role is to anchor the side.
This is the danger of fans’ criticisms of Babar - it’s the very same. Let them both play their natural games.
I wonder. With an attack of Wood, Archer, Broad and Stokes, and batting reinforced by Stokes, Crawley and Pope they can do more damage than the insipid team they sent last time.

maybe. England may not have the best players in the team apart from stokes but as a team they have the best balance with ability to bat deep and have players who can provide support with the ball as well.
