When Adil was Smashed for Six by Fakhar over long on , it was very evident nexr ball by Rashid was going to be slow googly going across Fakhar yet he tried another slog sweep like its the only shot Fakhar plays against Spinners and he lobbed it up. Such low level IQ of our players While batting or bowling. Cant read the game or situation well enough . Compare this to Dawson who cramped Nawaz for room on First ball , in post interview Dawson said he anticipated another slog sweep so he went for yorker. these small moments matter in t20

Today, the entire chase was built on the back of strike-rotation and running between the wickets. They ran Pakistan ragged while taking minimal risks. Even the guys who didn't score runs rotated the strike well. Pakistan players on the other hand, don't have the skills needed at this level. They don't hit enough sixes, they can't rotate the strike + play too many dot balls and their default setting to get out of jail is try to bash their way out.

Pakistan tried their best today, with political & internal interference in mind. They fought till the end and were beaten by the better team.

I can’t see how Pakistan could have done better with this line-up / players, they maximised their resources and really tried.
