Because their pacers were neutralized and they didn’t have the spin attack to take advantage. All they had was the one-dimensional SLA that we played out.
 
So that was fun while it lasted. To be honest we did not deserve to go through based on NRR after that loss against WINDIES. Pak team management always comes across as dumb and uneducated in making calculations. We needed to play the game against AFG and NZ more proactively and won it earlier rather than stretching it to the last few overs.

While NZ lost to Aus Eng Pak and still qualify
Head to head should be decider

Pakistan got lucky against afghanistan. In fact not just lucky they were robbed by poor decisions by umpires and captain.

How can PPers say new Zealand are lucky? Pakistan are the luckiest team in this tournament to be still in contention even after such a poor performance against afghanistan.

But I think people need someone or something to blame rather than accept their own short comings, so I understand why PPers are blaming luck here

NZ seem to get a lot of unlucky dismissals. Lots of key batsmen playing on, caught down the legside, Walking on the stumps, and now this. Are there any other unlucky ways their main batsmen can find to get out?

So that means Shaheen is a better bowler then boult, henry and lockie, thats great then we have got a gem then if he managed to outbowl them. or was it he bowling as there were clouds and the sun was shining brightly when boult was bowling.
 
Its clear they arent chasing this,hope for them to allout in 120 odd and then may be defeat bangladesh by 200 runs imo
 
No luck for nzl. One wasn't out and the other was the unluckiest dismissal a batsman can get. Let alone best one on the team. England have had the rub of the green last 2 games. Roy could have been bowled first ball of the match today.
 
Luck deserting us and rightly so given that we’ve used all of it in our last game against AFG.

Boult is only second to stark and bumrah...dont compare newbies with legends
 
future tournaments should be head 2 head then it should be nrr for tie breakers

we must admit defeat now.

India purposely played poorly against England

I know fandom is tribal and biased but the delusion is strong among these ones as Yoda would say.
 
Luck only favours the brave and england have played with the most fierce approach than any other team when it mattered the most.

Of course I would have. I enjoy freelance and junaids trolls also when they go anti India trolling.

Ever Indian on PP knows iur batting barring rohit and Kohli is garbage. So whatever you are saying is nothing new to us we already know how rubbish we are. It's just that our bowling is clicking and Rohit is in form of his life so we are still doing decently.

And another thing is other teams like Pak, SA, SL are even more rubbish than us so we got into semis
 
its like the game of cricket has decided to keep Pak out of the final . . lol . . and have at least one one-sided semi final!
 
Nothing to worry about here, Neesham and Latham to bring it home.
