England Men will face Ireland in a three-match IT20 series at Malahide, Dublin, starting Wednesday 17 September, with Warwickshire all-rounder Jacob Bethell named captain for the first time. The 21-year-old is set to become England Men’s youngest-ever international skipper, while Hampshire pacer Sonny Baker earns his maiden senior call-up after standout performances for England Lions, in the Vitality Blast, and The Hundred.
The squad sees all-format Test regulars rested, aside from Bethell, with Marcus Trescothick stepping in as Head Coach for the series.
