But i agree, the little action I have seen, these pitches suck. Its like a 20/20 track, nothing happening at all.

I'd give Aftab the benefit of the doubt here, nobody is really doing much with the ball. Most of the wickets are more pressure from RR then a beauty breaking through defense.

Doesn't mean their better i.e. Finn. And besides, the best cricket players are relatively small

He came out with good platform set by Sami Aslam, Hussain Talat and Hassan Raza but when required really lifted the pace of the innings and took apart Englands best and most aggressive bowler on the day with some excellent controlled clean hitting. As he walked off he was rightly being congratulated by many of the English players as they simply had no answer to him.

Kamran Ghulam has been excelling all tour from what I hear so I think he certainly looks the real deal to be consistently batting with such high strike rate.

Re pace of Pakistan bowlers

Speaking to some of the Pakistan boys on the sidelines they said Zia ul Haq is the quickest bowler (c.140kph) and Mohammad Aftab is c.135kph

Zia bowled the England opener and broke the stump !

I hope the lad becomes the number 8 who balls proper spin. Too often either they cant spin the ball or the batting is useless. One of the reasons for our recent decline has been our tendency to be 6 out, all out and a stronger tail is essential to win games as both Ind and England have shown more recently.
