Aftab gives four ball every over , I don't think he is good enough for U19s yet ,On the other hand Zia ul haq is a defensive bowler and is not good enough to pick wickets when needed , Better find some new pacers for our U19 attack.

Awais Munir will replace Aftab Later

his Name was in 15 men squad

but get Injured

and from what i heard

Awais has pace to Like Zia

Left arm fast
 
Zia is not a strike bowler , He is more like old Abdul Razzaq with the bowl , We need 2 attacking and wicket taking pacers for our U19s , Irfan Ullah and Usman Khan seems to be ideal choice ,but may be they are over age.
 
Hasham whos that guy you kept going on about months ago? When you were telling his stats e.g. most of his wickets were bowled/lbw? You were hyping him like mad.

& Zia isn't a contiaining bowler. Its just England have played him with caution. He still has 7 wickets

Check Shah performance in Inter region 2011/12 33 wickets Ave 13 S/R 27 (Better performance than ZIA,Ehsan)

in 2012/13 inter region 54 Wickets Ave 13 S/R 27 was Highest wicket taker as Fast bowler in inter region UN-19 by 20 more wickets compare to other

if u talk about Stats

Syed Abid Hassan is has doing well since 2 year for Rawalpindi UN-19 Side

33 wickets Ave 12 S/R 24 :O

i seen his Bowling Video

use to swing bowl in Air (Young Anwar ali type of fast bowler)

but pace is 125-127kph :(

Irfanullah and Awais munir both were in 15 men squad in place of Farhan and Noman Akram

there is something wrong with Pakistan UN-19 Coaches and selectors

thay dont even allow Fast bowler to Train if he has UN-130kph pace :(

same Happening with Syed abid hassan

overall in 2 year he has been Brillent at UN-19 Level but not selected for Pakistan UN-19 team bcz pace is low

i seen Abid Hassan Bowling Video

Bowled Inswing Yorker bowl swing in air so long and off stump gone
and 2nd video Bowled batsman with great Inswing

B.Kumar type of Fast bowler syed Abid is swing in air/and of the Pitch

But PCB Selectors will never give him chance bcz pace is 130kph less

Awais,Shah Fit playing for ZTBL hopefully and Zafar,Talat,Babar also will play for ZTBL

Ali Raza and Salman Saeed PIA Young Fast bowler i like both of them was playing for PIA in Ramadan cup hopefully show there talent in President,s cup also

Department Players will get few matches

but Region Player may have to wait Kamran,Aftab,Etc

but hopefully Weak Department like UBL,State Bank pick Sadaf Hussain type of Deserving players in there squad :)

This U-19 team looks extremely talented...

Pakistan throughout the years have always had the most talented youngsters....but not many of them have not gone on to achieve what everyone thought they could have in the pakistans fist team.

With no international cricket being played in pakistan we need to give yougsters exposure in other countries & conditions. More U19 & A team tours need to be organised.

Zafar Gohar to me looks like a young Abdur Rehman.

loved watching him bowl in the last game
 
man we are in a power position. we get higgins then its game over for england.... their rhodes is already gone... great bowling and great batting. RR at 9.24 and its the 23rd over.

zafar gohar is the highest wicket taker by 15 and second is rhodes at 14 and aftab at 11.

Ryan Higgins has scored 50+ in 4 consecutive matches in this tournament. Higgins, Ballance, Jarvis, and I'm sure there are a number of others I'm missing, are all young, talented Zimbabwean players pushed to ply their talents elsewhere because of the turmoil at home.
 
Another one! Two in the over for Zafar Gohar making it 17 in the tournament! Question is - Who will be man of the tournament? Zafar or Aslam?

its galling to see that from such a talented bunch of young cricketers we may realistically see one or may be two guys breaking into the central pool of contracted palyers in future.. Sami Aslam and Zafar Gohar definitely as they look like having not just talent but temprament to go with it .Kamran ghulam maybe ( bowling is weak ) . Rest I dont know. Zia , Aftab and couple of batters all look very good but will have to compete with 200+ players in the mainstream first class setup ..Will they rise from the crass domestic structure with enough promise or will they just become another brick in the wall..

I just hope that some one with enough brains in the cricket development setup is taking notice and maybe planning to save these youngsters from the negativity and mediocrity of Pakistan domestic cricket .

There's more chance of you and me seeing Ryan Higgins bat or Winslade bowl for England in future and these two english boys dont have a third of talent compared to our boys. But their system will support them and condition them in becoming good cricketers , whereas sadly it looks like our lot will just have to look towards the heavens for a break.

Hope to see Sami Aslam playing for Pakistan team soon.
