Just arrived at the ground, Pakistan U19s have won the toss and will bat first
 
Sami Aslam starts with a 4. And what is Shayan Jagangir doing back in the team? Isn't Rafay playing?

I told you Pakistan have some annoying players in all Squads. I don't follow women cricket but I am sure there are sifarishis there as well.

Decent start by Pakistan. With wickets in hand they can accelarate big time in the last 20 overs.

Very little crowd as you would expect really. I'd say less than 100 people in total. Will take a pic shortly.
 
Serious question
What age does it start to go wrong? Pakistan are probably the best U19 team in the world so you'd think they'd produce some world class stars but once they graduate and enter the senior team they play awful? :13: Is it just poor grooming by management which leaves players raw or something else?

70/2 after 15 overs is a very good start indeed. Just keep wickets in hand an score 4-5 runs an over the NeXT 20 overs or so.
 
The new batsman shayan jahangir is quite unheard of.

Hasham any view on him?
 
Zafar Gohar has 14 wickets in the tournament so far with a 3fer each in his last two matches
 
My namesake Shayan has played some cracking shots so far, looks a decent bat.

And Sami Aslam of course just looks like a brilliant player. Let's hope he's just as good whenever he breaks into the senior side.
 
Pakistan's run rate 5.25 is pretty impressive.hope they can maintain that till the end.
 
Pakistan should look to make 260, and once they get there, just start slogging
 
looking at u/19 batting vs u/23 it think they should go straight to singapore after today final

They both are scoring at good run rate MASHALLAH
 
I Hope this justifies Jahangir's selection, as many were criticizing him for his poor Domestic stats..
