Pakistan U19s (263/2) inflict a comprehensive 8-wicket defeat on India U19s (259/9) in the group match of the ACC U-19 Asia Cup 2023

At the end of 50 overs, India U19 scored 259/9. Target for Pakistan U19 is 260.
 
Sarfraz khan's brother got unlucky with the helicopter shot. He is a dangerous batsman i heard. There is a good chance Pakistan will meet India against in Asia cup.
 
I'm not sure who the Pakistan wk is, but he is awful.

Can't seem to take any ball cleanly.

Surely Pakistan is favourite to win the match ? They were chased 155 against Nepal just in 26 over with 7 wicket remaining .

He’s tall accurate moves the ball gets extra bounce and his pace is good for his age and height if he’s handled carefully he’s an incredible prospect
 
Lovely shot for 6 runs and now a shot for 3 runs. Outfield very slow.

But indian batters are just quality :)..just look at our batters now they are just fishing..wafting i mean how bad..indians have done 7 leg side wides...and not one was clipped to legside boundaries shows you the lack of balance

He is specialist captain I think because both his batting and keeping has been awful from every match he has played , actually his captaincy is extremely good from what I observed, always one step ahead of opposition batters.
 
Abhishek turning the ball where as our spinners can’t move an inch however our pacers are definitely better than Indian ones
 
This team looks looks more confident, skillfull than India and are playing with a swag like the old Pakistani teams. This looks like Pakistans game to lose here

I'm a bit surprised to see this Indian team so far. Only Sachin Dhas has looked the confident Indian player. Otherwise it has been pretty even competition thus far.
 
I believe almost all of these Pakistani U19 Players were part of PJL. Playing a whole top t20 league season with seasoned coaches, mentors and overseas players must've done some good to our players. At least in terms of gaining experience and confidence in the big stage.
 
So much negativity already from Pakistan fans. Give these kids a break..let them enjoy the game
 
Shahzaib Khan scores a fluent half-century. He is at crease 63*(86).He's really good at batting and stands like a strong wall on the field. His technique is solid, and people think he's the future of the Pakistan cricket team.
 
The result isn't important as player development at this level. Let's see these young players( and not so young) should real potential

I started watching the match in the last few overs of Indian innings. Love how Zeeshan bowled, what an absolute talent. Would request @Saj bhai to do a talent spotter on hum. Then outclass batting by Shahzaib playing with aggressive intent, absolutely opposite to babar/rizwan doctrine. Then Azan playing the anchor role and guiding the chase beautifully. Maza aa gaya! Excellent match going on.

Ramiz bhai deserves all this credit. He was criticised so heavily for PJL by karachi media.

Pleasantly surprised. They lost a few YODIs against Sri lanka a few days ago, so I wasn't expecting much. Correct me if I'm wrong: these players were finds of the U19 T20 league by Rameez.

100% Wasim Khan and Ramiz Raja did a lot of good in providing developing environment for young players and a standard of domestic cricket.
 
What a win by Pakistan, clinical performence and outplayed India. Big credit to shahzaib, azan, saad baig and mohammad Zeeshan 😀😀

Because these boys dont have a PR agency and are not acting on the field. All the cringe stuff from hollywood actors rizwan etc. is just for show and their twitter Fan clubs.

They lost them games because our main players didn't play and we tested many players throughout the series. Azan Awais wasn't even picked for the series in order to give others a go.

I'll agree with you on U19, but not on senior team. The domestics look barren as far as the senior team is concerned.
