Morgan, Bell and Trott are now the three strong contenders for two batting positions. I would edge out Trott, though I do think he's alright.

WHY PAKISTAN DONT HAVE BATSMAN LIKE THIS :pissed:

I think we have.... :umarakmal same batting order.. same range of shots and somewhat control aggression which will improve game by game

The most convincing innings I've seen in a long time

Every shot hes played has come off and has gone for 4

I wud have edged out ian bell... Trott to me is a better test match batsman...

ian bell looks shaky sometimes...against better attacks

he's the best England player to suddenly emerge since Pietersen, both became household names in a matter of months. chuffed

If anyone ever deserved a century, Morgan deserves it here

it's a toughie. Trott's Ashes hundred was something special, but he has struggled in the majority of his knocks since then...always against South Africa, sometimes even in Bangladesh. so I don't think Trott is necessarily more trustworthy than Bell. I see Bell as a more forward-thinking selection, and a more naturally talented player, though he does blow it now and again. could go either way... but Morgan has to play, definitely...

98!!! packed Rose Bowl with the pressure on against the Aussies. Tuesday 22nd June 2010, the night Eoin Morgan became a star.

Bresie played well there, run a ball 30. helped to seal it.

WAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!! quite a good hiding in the end really! bog off England haters.

what a player! and :14: to Bresnan, really seems to be a man for a crisis for England these days.

morgon should play each and every test match... he is a talent team dont get very often ..

i still believe ian bell cant play against better attacks... like against aussies he alwayz fail... Trott surely fail against SA.. its very tough for sure... to select among these 2 .. i personally go with trott.. my believe is with trott.. :)

1. He succeeded in Pakistan.

2. in the last and deciding Ashes test he got a crucial 70.

Irish really troubling Australia on this tour!

in pakistan we have dead tracks.. easy to bat on even against quality bowling ... though wasim waqar were not there at that time... i think its 5 years now ..when he scored those runs . . and it was the same year i guess when he failed miserably against aussies in ashes in england

not taking anything away from ian bell ..but he is averaging mere 27 in last 3 matches against aussies in last one year.. one innings is not enough :) dude
