Blimey. The best batsman in the world out-thought by the worst spinner in the world / worst tactical captain in the world. Who'da thunk it?
Broad on to monster his semi-bunny Clarke.
Whatever happens in the game, Bhai always wins.Even Bhai is no match for Steven Smith.

once a tailender.....Patheitc way of playing spin by Smith.
Always has to step down the track to score runs against spinners. This time the ball spins a bit more and he played a horrendous shot.
Smith needs to learn to score against spinners without leaving his crease. This stepping down the track gimmick will not work when the ball actually spins.
I guess Smith learned an important lesson today...
Come at the bhai, you best not miss![]()
Some uneven bounce already. Could that be a factor on the fourth day? The fifth is likely to be a washout so my money is on the drawn match.
Moeen overused by cook here..
English commies are so awesome.
Gower + Nasser + Atherton + Bumble = GOAT
Voges been choked to death by Englands attritional bowling. Very good gameplan by Stokes and England. Cutting off the runs making the Aussies self destruct.
So, England are not as **** as we all thought, and Australia are not as good as we all thought.
That wicket has turned the match England's way.
Johnno can hit Australia out of trouble though, so they have to get him before he does damage.
If we even get rolled on this pitch forget winning this series i think we are looking at another 3-0 loss.
I doubt that. I think it will be very close and you will retain the Ashes. You might have to change your keeper and drop Johnson though. Depends what they do in the rest of this match. Only 15 wickets gone in the series so far!
I think barring collapses, this one will be drawn. Which both teams would probably be OK with.

The thing is the Aussies only know one way to play. That is aggressive and attacking. On these slower pitches that style is negated. More patient and attritional cricket is required at times. Something the Aussies can't do. If England get a lead of 100 make Aussies chase around 400 in the 4th innings. They won't have the patience to survive and save the game
