This is justice. Pakistan don’t deserve to qualify for the semifinals. England didn’t work hard for 4 years for nothing.

Seems like I am watching Pakistan chase. But, I am sure India will make it a close game because they are a top team.

That shocker of a match is why Pak are in trouble. There's no rain around now. Groundsmen will prepare an absolute belter for England Vs New Zealand and England will win. I can't see anything else happen
 
Atleast Indian fans will have an excuse for their team's bad performance today that they wanted Pakistan out of the WC
 
If they can keep it near 10rrr with 10 overs to go and wickets in hand, they can do it.

Pant looks way too nervous and a bit of hack.

England are winning the World Cup.
 
It would be injustice to see Pakistan go through instead of England.

England has worked immensely hard in the last four year and have consistently played good cricket which Pakistan has been completely unable to do so. There is no match between the two.

Would ideally want us to be closer to 6 runs per over at 35th over mark.

Pant need to play a nice little cameo (of 40+ runs) here, if he can.

This game is not important for India, it is already through. An ideal time to get Pant ready for the knockouts.

England deserve to be in the KO stages, I agree. Moeen Ali and Adil Rashid deserve to go down in history as world cup finalists or outright winners, depending on what happens with Pakistan.
 
Think India have lost now. Needed Kohli. Guys like Pant, Jadhav, even Dhoni to an extent, most important thing for them is to get some good runs in the middle, get some form. It's better for India team's interest. Rohit and Kohli are a little different given both have scored a lot of runs consistently over last few years and in this tournament and have cemented their places securely.

No hate towards them if they do just try to play it out, it would make sense if Pakistan were in the same position too.

India cannot chase this. I would say it was possible if Kohli was there but this is a little too much to cover. Hey
 
India never even tried to chase this total. The intensity was never there. England hasnt bowled rockets at them.

They're the least competent players in Eng squad.

Why are you saying that? Why do you prefer religious stuff over merit and skills ?
 
Saurav Ganguly was critical of Australia's slow batting against India. Now in the same circumstances, he thinks Indias slow batting is some sort of tactical masterclass 🤔🤔🤔

What are you on about man? Its impossible. Even if we had beaten Afg and BD by 400 runs we'd still not go thru by RR. NZ is currently better off than us by 500 runs.

We need England to lose one game.
 
Plunkett is very canny bowler. Always pick wicket in middle overs .Still cannot believe morgan drop him in few matches

I wish we can get such batsmen some day. Babar and Haris can do it.

The question now is all about NRR. If Pakistan can beat Bangladesh by a big enough margin and England can beat New Zealand, we should go through.

We can't go through on run rate you have to understand can be beat bng by 500 runs no impossible our best chance is if eng lose either to India or nz.

I dont even pray for Pakistan to win, better things to ask God for than a sports match win lol.

Thankfully Rohit Sharma is playing to win and not thinking like lame Indians wanting their own team to lose so Pakistan may not qualify.

They're the best spinners in England and a crucial part of their squad. To question their merit and skills is idiotic.

No chance for Pak to go through on run rate. Only chance is if England loose today or against newzealand and we beat Bangla boys

I think you're trolling or being thick deliberately. There is a difference of 500 runs. Even if we beat BD by 300 runs we'd have to have NZ to lose by over 180 runs. Either one isn't happening, never mind both.

Pakistan has to make up about 400+ runs to get ahead of NZ. So it would have to beat Bangladesh by about 200 and England would have to beat NZ by about 200.

Your best bet is India beating England, keep rooting for them.

it is this type of mindset why our cricket and country as a whole is falling behind, because we have individuals like him who will judge others on religious practices over meritocracy. Yet he has the nerve to tell Indians to be secular.
