Question to Pakistani friends... how different does it feel backing Indian chase? I mean considering Kohli is there.. are you confident the batting team can pull it off?

Good question, definitely much more calm than watching our own batsmen chasing down a total ala the game vs India 2 weeks ago.

I always like watching Rohit and Kohli play and till the time they are at the crease everything is possible.

India gave away 30-40 runs to many. In this road chasing 300 is doable but 338 look impossible.

Yeah.. you will understand Indian POW in these situations.. shows how good Kohli is!

Considering how smoothly these two operate makes me remember seeing Yousuf and Inzi in the middle order for Pak as you were always confident that they are too good to get out softly.

These two are good enough to extract 20 runs of any over they want so as far as they stay, India is in the game.

Scoring at 8 an over is very possible even for 25 overs or so on this wicket if they're set. Game still very much on.

Kohli is the only likable character of this Indian team because he's pretty secular. I know Pakistan will reach the semis if they win today but I just cannot bring myself to support these oranges. Probably the first time in a long time where I'm a complete neutral.

Inzi and Yousuf were great for you guys during 2000-2007... amazing player under pressure Inzi was

Guys doesn't matter who wins today..but Indian showing great fight..imagine we are chasing this total..just like yesterday..lol

Pakistan won't reach the semis if India win today. Pakistan would still have to beat Bangladesh (unless England also lose to NZ).

FTB Rohit is back. The English were mad thinking they could get away with a flat pitch against Rohit AND the best batsmen in the world

Pakistani fans should feel blessed to witness actual proper batsman go about a chase. Must be nice for a change.

Rohit is pure class and I guess seeing Kohli and Rohit bat together is as good as it gets in ODIs in terms of conventional textbook strokes.

Orange doest signify any damn thing dude. Be logical. Pakistan dress has been green through out history. So it signifies Islam and so it's not secular. So why you support Pakistan? India wore this jersey only today. And it doesn't explain iota.
Critical thinking people are very few in other side of border unfortunately.

Actually nobody cares if you support India or not. India will thrash Pakistan in semis too if they get there.

The batting strategy and the way Rohit and Kohli rotate the strike, take singles of every delivery and make use of loose deliveries is a treat to watch. If only Pakistani batsmen could watch and learn

Even if England lose to NZ, Pak will still have to beat Bangladesh, a Bangla win will move them to 9 points moving to Semi with the better run rate.

It'll be pretty nerve-wracking I think. Considering that once this partnership is broken, India are done for.

India is well ahead in DWL now, though asking still is close to 8.5.

Have to leave now this wonderful chase - by the time I join,,,,:)

Even if Eng loses to NZ Pak would still have to beat BD which isnt an easy task. BD has experienced side, with good leader and has been really good in this WC so nothing can be said with confidence.

They will be definitely watching it today.

Coming from somone whose nation wont choose anything but green because of religion talks about being secular...talk about being neutral lol

As i guessed team india isn't as childish and petty as some pak experts had us believed

What the hell you mean by "secular"? They are there to play cricket not community service.

By the way if you meant Hindutva by referring to oranges, Kohli is pehaps the most ardent Modi supporter in this lineup. He is mostly trolled by leftists in India for this.

The green in Pakistan's flag does in fact, symbolize Islam. Regardless, I wasn't talking about their orange jerseys but just the whole attitude of the Indian team.
