If you are hinting at skill, I think pandya batting has improved but he is still a long way from a reliable player. Also, 12-13 per over and not tarfetting rashid is what I cannot excuse him for. Looks like India want a low margin defeat than going for the shots. So, yes, attitude has to change. I agree with that part. Also, big hitting ability of all middle order is seriously exposed as bowling failed for once.
 
The Cliche Machine is obviously miffed right now. He was drooling at the prospects of Pakistan going all the way and repeating the CT heroics so that he can bring out his usual cliches. Yes I am talking about Nasser Hussain.

That is very true, we could have won couple of more by now. This Hail Merry mentality has killed us, not just in cricket but society at large. We focus on 6C tech aka Faith rather than 21C reason to build foundation of society. No society can progress nor team with this mindset 🤬🤬🤬

I dont see why we are blaming India for anything.

We knew that even if we win 04 matches, all results have to go our way.

And we KNEW that we have to hand out at least ONE thrashing to improve NRR.

Well, we are on course for 04 matches, but we have barely squeaked through in 49 overs in both games. If it comes down to NRR and NZ, it is OUR FAULT.
 
Even if India now win all of their matches they will qualify for 2nd position. If Eng beat NZ they will be at number 3 and NZ will be 4. So India will face England again in the semis. Inshallah India will be smashed into next week by the English.

Yeah they have Woakes and Rashid who can bat as good as Moeen. Woakes is a proper all rounder. Without Plunkett England would have lost today's game as well.

Difference today has been Plunkett (+ Woakes). Flat pitch, batting first, England would probably have got 330 odd even without Roy (e.g. game against Pakistan).
 
What's Kedar's purpose in the team? Can't play big shot, Kohli doesn't trust his bowling ability, ordinary batsmen overall. Unfortunately, only Jaddu can replace him right now in the WC squad. No point mentioning MSD, guess will haqve to arrange a series with Afganisthan for his farewell.

Hope the system gets cleaned up after the WC and get rid of the dead weeds. Main culprit- MSK Prasad and his mediore colleagues.
 
If Pakistan doesn't make it to semis i want them to lose to BD so our team and PCB can have a revamp.

Not sure you have seen Yuvi, Raina and Dhoni batting together but they used to chase successfully in many matches. During Rahul Dravid's captaincy India made a record of consecutively chasing in 16 or 17 matches. I have seen those matches that's why I don't like these upcoming hacks who have no game awareness. :inti

We were favorites in 87, played professional cricket but unfortunately stumbled in the semifinal. That World Cup should have been the defining moment of Pakistan cricket history, and it could have ushered an era of professionalism.

Unfortunately, we won in 92 and started believing in miracles, magic, unpredictability and cornered tigers nonsense that have severely hampered the growth of Pakistan cricket.

In 83, India produced a bigger cornered tigers moment than Pakistan, but they didn’t allow it to define their cricket, because they knew how success is achieved and what it takes to be a consistently great side.

Pak have 9 points. Eng have 8 points.

Eng win today, Eng have 10 points.

NZ beat ENG - England stay on 10 points.
PAK beat BNG - Pakistan have 11 points.

Pak qualify.

Nothing to do with NRR.

Dhoni continues to justify his selection to the powers that be. It's all about media and sponsorship money and just like lot of money rides on him, so it does on this English team more so here given that they are the host. Kedar is just doing what is instructed to him by powerful stakeholders which has ensured his consistent run despite being medically unfit.

We need to beat Bangladesh.

We’ll be in the semis irrelevant of NRR

Don't talk when you don't know the picture. If NZ win against Eng and Pak win against BD, Pak will have 11 point and Eng will have 10 points. Before acting like an expert get basic education first.
 
Being an Indian , really do not understand the approach. Having the wickets and being notnout is imp than winning? Really man . this is not done.
