A 4 stump line is the height of aggression from Cook

A little more threatening bowling lineup could have made proceedings interesting here :mv

Everytime the opposition bowling attack seems to roll over the England bowling attack , in comes Broad and spoils the party. I hope England dont manage to set a target of above 300 and we can get to see an interesting final day of test match which would surely guarantee a result.

Has Mahela been using the same hat as the on he received when he made his debut in 96 ?

Kiri also take's Ali's offstump :)) Kiri on a roll

I'm pretty sure that's true... really means we are playing 2 international cricketers at :lh... one super cricketer and another one Kiri :yk

Remember guys, Herath played country cricket in England before making his comeback for SL. Kiri is supposedly in "England" ? ;)

Need to bowl Eranga and Herath together- hope for a collapse and then chase the runs. SL have a realistic chance here.

Great game. Good resilience shown by Sri Lanka first with the bat and now with the ball. England effectively 230/5

All three results possible. England have a slight advantage. Lanka will have to bat well on the final day

This match likely to be a draw , poms will not make bold declaration , but cricket is a funny game :)

Something drastic needs to happen here for result , may be like last time lanka lost in two sessions

Good sportsmanship from England to sacrifice some on their wickets to make the game more interesting for the viewers.

Russell and his bias commentary again.

Russell is an incredibly insipid and bland commentator, but he's the only tolerable one from SL. Somehow a nation that produces such astonishingly good players has produced only horrible commentators.

When Sanga retires and hopefully joins the combox, he'll be one of the best commentators in the world.

Russell has toned down a lot since he started but acts like a little girl as soon as SL start doing well coming up with all sorts of scenarios where SL can win.

Sanga can talk the talk but is a proper cheat

Brett: "If England can get to 300 they'll be favourites - chasing down 300 in the 4th innings does not happen often."

Interesting comment on cricinfo

This match is getting rather interesting suddenly..... no rain forecast for tomorrow either.

Need a lead of 300 for a comfortable win.

now this is why test cricket has some life, 3 days of no life, suddenly 4th day it becomes exciting :D

Steve: "If Cook wants to win, he will declare with 15 overs left today. Question is does he have courage or belief." I wouldn't declare, I would take the draw here and back my side to win at Headingley where conditions will more favour England, only a two-match series this remember...
