Benn comes running out! Looks like hes been asleep and not ready lol!

He was in the nets with his walkman on!!!

Could england win this test in 2days and by an inns?

W.I really are back to their brilliant best when it comes to comical cricket!

W.I 152

I recon england will force follow on here!

Onions gets 5 wickets on debut... them keep on mentioning him making my mouth water

coz when me mum fries chopped onions in some ghee to make some curry it just smells awsome. feel like eating roti with some fried onions... 5 rotis haha

It's gonna rain tomorrow in London (Well the morning at least) , so England want to get something now in the last bit of this session.

Windies will walk off for anything now.

The way they fielded & batted. I expect them to get that wrong also!

W.I 39/2 at close day 2

Bad light stopped play.

England will win this match, just question of when.

Can Windies declare and lose with some dignity?

Disgraceful performance

Day 2 - It's raining. They wont be starting for sometime

Am sure its day 3 today :)

Day 2 in the olden days though, Friday's will always be day 2 for us slightly less young folk ie. 25+

The games that advanced it might as well be day 5 today. i know what you mean though. it was always good to have days 3/4 over the weekend and get good crowds in.

With this series struggling for crowds, the match should be all over before the weekend, when there is likely to be the best turnout. Did the PCB have something to do with this?

Maybe there is a 'big' IPL game on the weekend? :D

Agree though, ECB got this wrong! Biggest crowd is a scheduled FULL HOUSE for Staurday - game could be over by tonight!

If we get atleast 40 overs in today i recon game will be over.

Play has started for the day.

Amzingly, only 6o mins lost.

Chanderpaul is the key I think

62/2

Smith has yet another start, he will get out soon as usual though.

W.I 69/2 now both batsmen showing some good form.

Oh man, 26 more day's before the next Pakistan match, It might have to be IPL time.

Onions into the attack now. Starts off with a bouncer and Simmons plays the pull, only to miss and get hit on the helmet.

Onions strikes.

Simmons gone for 21. Flicked straight to Cook. Decent catch.

Chanderpaul needs to bat for the next two days.

Decent delivery.

89mph.

Chanderpaul can bat for ages. The question is who will stay with him.

Chanderpaul - like the rest of the Windies, dont want to be there in the middle

Like I said. Terrible body language by Shiv

He s out! Swann again

75-4

Chanderpaul failed in both innings....now he will lose points in ICC player rankings and Younis will replace him as # 1 player...yippee

Ball of the series already?

ONIONS bowls Devon Smith

Swing, pace - nip back....demolishes the stumps!

79-5

Smith out in the 40's yet again, to be fair to him though on this occasion he was outdone by a very good ball.

Windies once again sailing on nicely and then a stackload of wickets fall, making it to lunch is almost debatable.

Poor performance by the West Indies.

These guys don't even look interested.

Have you seen the footage of them? Arriving late. Hands in pockets. Wandering around disinterested. Players not padded up when waiting to come into bat.

Then once on the field - Calypso collapso when batting; one of the most shambolic fielding performance you will ever see in ANY cricket!

3 overs before lunch:

. . 1wd W . . . | . . . 1lb 4 W | 4 W . . 1lb

80/5 26 Overs

As long as the rain keeps away , the game probably will be over today. Or Windies need a massive massive partnership after lunch.

At the start of the game , everybody was saying how unresponsive this pitch is and how we're in store for another bore draw.

Barring Smith in both inns the W.I batting has been a joke. No application and no fight.

Onions and swann have done the buisness here for england.

Cant remember last time Chanderpaul failed in both inns of a test match! a huge shock.

184/5 - Nash and Ramdin both close to 50 here!

100 Partnership and a fighting one!

England 377
West Indies 152 & 189/5 (54.5 ov)

West Indies trail by 32 runs with 5 wickets remaining

Looks like this will push into Saturday which looked unlikely before lunch.

Well played these two.

50 for Ramdin well batted!

189/5 now.... 36 runs behind!

Ramdin on fire here! two fours in a row.

Onto 59* now...

Maybe Strauss had gentle knock on his door during lunch....asking him to go easy on the Windies - and take the game into the 1st hour of the 4th day....otherwise ECB lose £1 million!

:))) maybe!

Play due to finish at 7pm but england can claim extra half hour and play till half 7!

Nash 62* Ramdin 61*

Current partnership 138 runs, 32.4 overs,

58 runs in last 10 overs!
