With the weather set fair, should get a game in today.

Probable teams according to Cricinfo

England (probable) 1 Andrew Strauss (capt), 2 Ravi Bopara, 3 Matt Prior (wk), 4 Owais Shah, 5 Paul Collingwood 6 Eoin Morgan, 7 Dimitri Mascarenhas, 8 Stuart Broad, 9 Graeme Swann, 10 Tim Bresnan, 11 James Anderson

West Indies (probable)
1 Chris Gayle (capt), 2 Lendl Simmons, 3 Ramnaresh Sarwan, 4 Shivnarine Chanderpaul, 5 Kieron Pollard, 6 Dwayne Bravo, 7 Denesh Ramdin (wk), 8 Darren Sammy, 9 Jerome Taylor, 10 Sulieman Benn, 10 Fidel Edwards

Pitch and conditions
The forecast is set fair with temperatures set to raise so there shouldn't be any concerns on that front. Previous ODIs at Bristol have produced pitches with pace and bounce, as opposed to the slow surfaces that often greet domestic cricket.

Stats and Trivia

* There have been 11 previous ODIs on this ground and England have lost their last two matches here, against New Zealand in 2008 and India in 2007.

* West Indies have played two ODIs at Bristol, losing to Pakistan by 27 runs during the 1999 World Cup and also being beaten by Zimbabwe in 2000.

Weather is absolutely gorgeous (about 40 miles away from Bristol) - gonna be a scorcher today!

Cricinfo don't seem to have got their imperial/metric sorted out.

Anderson to Gayle, no run, 88.7 kph, raw pace there.

Screw Atul Sharma.

We've got an 88.7kph monster!

Windies are 7/2.

Gayle looks quite comfortable all of a sudden!

Gayle was looking danergous and i was hoping for some fireworks and entertainment we got a bit but england took an gamble by bringing on swann in the powerplay first ball hit for six 2ndd ball bowled him the gamble worked DAMN!

Jeez - when Collingwood can rip the heart out of the middle order with 2 wkts in 5 balls - says it all!

131-6 off 29.3 overs

Even 50 over cricket is too much for these jokers!

Another one goes - Butt style run out!

134-7 off 31 overs

Sad to see West Indies back to where they were before that series win in England. They might be able to defend 220 but it looks unlikely they'll get there unless there are completely unlikely fireworks from Pollard.

Collingwood reduces Windies to 150-8 with his 3rd wkts.

15 overs still left!

Windies have made Collingwood look like a world class bowler!

Broad wraps it up

160 all out off 38.3 overs

Garbage

Broad has bowled very well today but W.I were a joke with the bat!

Broad seems to be gaining results with ball now that his talent merits.

Eng 48/1 after 10 overs..

Bopara 23* Prior 9*

England win by 6 wkts in the end with 14 overs remaining, Bopara 43, Shah 38, Collingwood 47* the main scorers.
