Their a part of the bazzballing crew tbf. Their goal is to provide England 100-150 runs before tea or heck before 20 overs lol
 
As expected Prasidh going for plenty. He just bowls good length or short and hopes for the best. No skills to out think the batsman.
This is where you need Arshdeep. He can actually move the ball in both directions and has skills to keep the run rate under check.

I hope this is the last time this Prasidh guy ever plays for India.
 
India still is 376 runs ahead at this stage , that is a lot of runs to play. india if want to win , they need to take a lead of at least 100 - 120 runs at least.
 
Bumrah will get pope, Duckett and Root needs to score big.

Good news is, Stamina less Bumrah cant bowl more then 5 overs without being hospitalised 🤣🤣.

Even siraj has more stamina them him

Lost interest in the match! Looks like Indian team is heading towards 90s way... Strong Batting lineup (which ensures draws here & there if the pitches are flat), lone warrior fast bowler (Srinath/Bumrah) and an ineffective veteran overseas spinner (Kumble/Jadeja)... Only difference is Wicket-Keeper Batsman (Pant), we didn't have that in past (Nayan Mongia was a fake batsman - used to open batting at times)

For some good period India had strong bowling lineup in tests which helped us win some series against Australia (and extremely competitive in some series - we drew series in England, South Africa...) especially fast bowlers (Umesh, Ishant, Shami, etc) who helped not only in overseas but also made our team extremely dominant at home...

We seem to be soon losing the fast bowling culture (in tests)... In LOIs we had some fast/medium pacers contributing in team's success (like Kapil & co in 1983, Zaheer, Agarkar, Pathan, etc in brief times) but in Tests it was only this period (around 2010) where our fast bowlers played decisive role, we may lose this eventually... Only Bumrah can't do it... (He will also breakdown after 2-3 tests in a long series if given too much load)
 
And here we go, Ball is Old, Bumrah loses his effectiveness.

Regarding bumrah I have stated multiple times. Fantastic new ball bowler. Damn near useless stamina and gets useless as the ball gets older which puts him 300 leagues below Mcgrath.

But naw, continue having your amnesia. Ball dont even have the guts to stick it out. Running away 24/7 🤣🤣🤣.

The only posters I struggle with are posters who are genuinely superior to me like Rana, topspin, Nikhil, Hitman and can destroy me in an argument.

The rest are all pancake canon fodder.

Indian bowling lacks penetration outside of Bumrah. Quite mediocre. England likely to post 500 and we may have a fascinating final two days.

He is a real asset in England and this is the year of the resurgent bits and pieces players just look at Faheem Ashraf.

This is the greatest test bowler of all time? 🤣.

This is why you dont rate new ball wonders as no 1. Forget mcgrath, Anderson is a better test bowler then bumrah in every capacity excluding the new ball.

Those initial 5 to 10 overs spells are a nightmare followed by the next spell when the new ball is taken.

10 to 20 overs of hell, otherwise Mr 19.4 is nothing special.

Gets mauled in the middle everytime, cant take 10 wicket hauls despite playing with a lineup where every bowler is toothless making it extremely easy for him to take 10 wickets since unlike mcgrath Bumrah doesnt face any competition from someone stealing his spotlight.

It’s a great batting surface.

We brought Shardul on for the kind of surfaces that destroyed Virat Kohli’s career last decade.

Looks like England got scared of our attack and laid out these kind of patta pitches

Bumrah is levels above
But overall it’s a decent pace attack.

Of course these will have to earn a reputation. So far apart from Bumrah, Siraj has been around for a while and has been a decent bowler that’s it.

As a unit there’s potential

Hard disagree. BGT exposed this attack. Its bloody terrible minus bumrah. Looks like india's solution is to kill bumrah and end his career cause the other bowlers cant do zilch
 
Lone warrior Bumrah can't do it all. Bowling his heart out every time, but where's the support? Don't expect miracles in India's favour unless others step up.

Those bowlers are ordinary.

Wasim and Waqar were goats like Bumrah. They had to flipping break the stumps to get a batsman out. Same as Bumrah. He has limited numbers of over in him and fielders MUST support him.

Fielders were there as placeholders only.

I will be the most disappointed person if Prasidh Krishna doesn’t have a decent test series. I like his bowling. Nice action and pace. He needs to get it right.
