Broad should stick to playing warm up cricket ;-)

Will Broady take a 5fer today?

(even though i don't have any english player in my team, for some odd reason).

England were a bit nervous in the first PP, I thought. Bowled too short and seemed afraid to attack the stumps. This is why Swann is so important to our team. He is a quality player, sure, but it's the confidence that he exudes, and the way that the team draw on him, that is really noticeable. Since his introduction, the whole game has changed. The run rate is way down and we are controlling the game in the field all of a sudden.

WOW look at the averages of the guys batting 68 and 69 in 28 and 11 games quite impressive.

Have to say very sensible batting by Netherlands here. they look the best Associate team so far in the tourney

They are looking good for 230. England should be able to chase 5 an over against them but you never know, we've bottled it in many an 'easy' chase. I still consider Ireland the most dangerous of the associate nations though.

It depends on the next 20 overs. If they dont lose too many wickets, they could accelarate to 250+ which wont be a walk in the park if NED has some quality spinners.

Sanjay Manjrekar, he thinks Bangladesh have been over-hyped because of the odd win, and expects them to go out in the group stage. He fancies England for the semis at least :bumble

They are seeing off Swann's full quota, looks like they have a gameplan here..

Bangladesh more often than not flatter to decieve, so while they are strong contenders for the quarters, I wouldnt be too surprised if they crash too.

It all depends on Tamim and Shakib. Other than that only Imrul Kayes seems to bat well.

Jeeve jeeve holland

Runs coming easily now

Sanjay thinks Bangladesh are overrated.

I think so too from ages already I mean they are in International circuit for more then 10 12 years and the rate of improving is really really low.

Similar to yesterday, all of u thinking netherlands have a chance may be wrong again today by a long way. This is a terrific batting wicket as i saw in the first 15 overs.England will win this very easily if they get out netherlands for around 225-250.The only slight hope for netherlands is commentators said "there is always reverse swing in this ground",but i doubt nethrlands can exploit it effectively.

I don't know why Strauss wants Pietersen to work on his bowling. Everyone knows that Pietersen can't bowl, Pietersen most of all. He doesn't even particularly want to try. The story goes that when Hussey was dominating our seamers in Perth, the 'think-tank' in the slips kept on trying to throw the ball to Pietersen, but he refused and said it was pointless.

IMO Netherlands will need at least 280 to have a realistic chance of winning.

Hopefully they will get their with both these centuries

Agreed with him. They have had far too many chances but have progressed quite slowly. I think they will again flatter to deceive.

Dropped, very difficult one on the boundary. Booooooo.

Is anybody aware of the bowling Netherlands have ??

It's reportedly pretty rubbish when it comes to playing against the full members. Like I said though, it only has to be a good day for them. We have made a mess of many a run chase down the years.

Dutch have done well here! Their best two batsmen in middle now. They need to just bat solidly for 10-12 overs now and set a platform to go at it in last 8-10 overs and could get 250 atleast which would make things interesting.

England will look to dry the runs up here and get through some cheap overs.

Ten Doeschate should have most of the strike, otherwise he might get frustrated and throws his wicket away or he might be stranded on the other end.

Hopefully we can get the ball reversing and restrict them to 240.

Dutch 142/3 after 30

Teams look to double totals from here and if the dutch did they would have 284!
