Shadab, Imad, Hafeez, Malik and Iftikhar should be ready to ball some spin
 
Finally some timing and placement from Babar. He's looked a little off today so far
 
Keeping the RR around 8.4, not bad. Just need one to two overs to bump it to 10 RR.

Decent start but hope they are eying 200, anything less would be damn hard to defend even with spin help.
 
Considering Pakistan’s LOI lineup, they really dont need both Malik and Hafeez. Rizwan can play a similar anchor role if required. No point in having so many anchors in my opinion. One thing I agree on is that Hafeez and Malik are still the best players of spin but, you cant keep them forever and game of other batsmen against spin should also be developed.
 
Babar has reached 1,500 runs in just his 39th match. That ties the record held by Aaron Finch and Virat Kohli in this format.
 
8 rpo is way mediocre on this pitch and we haven't even lost a wicket, need to up the anti very soon, so far both seems little selfish and not going with full intent.

They had worse stats than Shadab in WC. Leg spinner when new to the game has that novelty factor which has gone now for Chahal and Kuldeep. They are still good bowlers but, getting same success as earlier in their career would be difficult. They will need to work on bit more variations.
 
Should've selected only one among hafeez and malik. The world cup is one year away and its not likely they both will make it till there
 
Here comes the anchors according to Pak team management

Only team in world cricket that worries about anchors in T20 cricket.

Are good enough against spin at least in T20s.

You will get your answers in English chase, we have to consider opposition batting strength also, for most other teams this would be decent start but vs this ultra aggressive English team.
 
Its T20 cant blame Fakhar here. In ODIs though such dismissals are criminal
 
I swear the amount of times I’ve seen Fakhar get out to spinners playing that slog sweep.
 
The professor such a great T20 batsmen that’s he’s scored 500 more runs then Babar Azam in international T20
 
This would have been the perfect opportunity for Haider to walk out after a solid start and whack the ball around. Now we have 2 anchors at the crease.
 
Really can't be stated how disappointing it is to see Hafeez come out and bat again, after all these years of his mediocrity.
Even at 40 he won't go away

Havent seen Zeeshan Malik’s game against spin. Ashraf looked decent and Haider has been okay as well I guess. Surely Zeeshan Ashraf can be tried as a keeper in T20s
 
Now that Fakhar is gone,we can say goodbye to 200. 170 will be an achievement for misbah XI.

Hafeez can be deadly specially vs spin on his day and when he is in mode.
 
I love this particular shot of Babar's. He guides the ball so delicately and effortlessly in such a narrow angle. So elegant.

What an honour this will be to get to witness the greatest player since Bradman, Hafeez Sobers hit 2K runs in T20I’s!
 
Imagine setting a platform to launch and out walks Professor Hafeez.

Now that the T20 has been postponed/cancelled, look at how England are experimenting with their team whereas we got youngster beauties like Hafeez and Malik.

Pakistan need to learn from how England go about succession planning but thanks to Misbah he has boosted the never ending toxic seniority culture.
