People crying over Sarfraz losing the toss as if it’s his fault. Just get over it. We won the toss against Afghanistan and still lost the match. I get criticism over Sarfraz captaincy, performance and fitness but this..... WOW

It’s not that if you have seen the last 4 tosses he’s called tails every time and lost like he doesn’t know theirs a heads to
 
Malik hafeez lobby ... see them both fail ... ridiculous ... hassan ali should have been dropped and m husnian who bowled 95 mph should be in ... pak loss ...

How to bowl Fakhar out cheaply. Bowl across & bit full, he will give you an edge as he doesnt move his feet. Looks like Grant Flower didn't help him with his technique
 
We’ll be defending against a team knowing even 450 might not even be enough damn even the thought of that is mind boggling that’s how good this English team is

You do know if he called heads "there is equal chance it would come out tails".

Toss is out of Sarfraz's hands.

How can you blame him for a toss.

We have Wahab and Hasan in the line up

Both are spray guns who will get slaughtered today

No score will be safe

Anyhow, we are going to get bombarded by short pitch bowling so I think we will struggle to get 250

See 6 rpo is like 4 runs rpo for England if you look at these games and bilaterals England don’t feel the World Cup pressure they play the same way even against South Africa after a collapse Morgan still kept hitting and got out in the process for England anything under 6rpo is a crime and for other teams it’s still a very good score and they’ll pat themselves on the back for it
 
So both Jofra and Wood have been selected and England have opted to bowl first. Every man and his dog knows what they are trying to do but they should still open with Woakes . He's the best new ball bowler . Wood as first change.

350+ is a very good score. Wc pressure so anything over 350 will be a good score
 
Good stuff. Imad was ineffective against England, so it was akin to playing with four bowlers anyway.

England overwhelming favourites, but we back our boys.
 
Don't think it's the right decision from Morgan.
Anything over 280 would have been difficult for pak to chase.
 
I’d rather have Malik over Imad. Not that Malik is ideal but if it’s between those two, i’d take Malik.
 
Pakistan are a bowler short.

They need to amp it up and target 380 to 400.
 
Man I just don’t want to see fakhar edging it to slip and getting out again I don’t care if he gets bowled caught in the air but if edges it to slip and gets out I’m gonna be so frustrated like just get out hit wicket idc but don’t edge it to slip it’s like you’re so weak that they know they don’t even have to try to get your wicket when he gets out like that
 
A big challenge for us to survive Mark Wood's bounce otherwise it will be a below 100 total.
 
At least pak lost the toss n have 2 bat... if pak won toss sarfraz would have no choice but to have put eng in... eng defo would of got 410... at least this way pak can hopefully get around 300... then hope Eng take it easy n take pity on the paying public n treat the chase as a practise match n chase it down after 35 overs...
 
Last time the batting was taken to the cleaners. Today I see the bowling being taken to the cleaners.

Pakistan should follow the Bangladesh template from yesterday and look to score 320. It's world cup and there are no easy runs here. England will crumble if Pakistan puts up a competitive score. All the best to Pakistan and fans!

Yeah we were struggling against nothing bowlers from WI to score 100 thanks to Wahab and you are asking to score 380-400 from far superior bowlers than WI.
 
Good to see Imad dropped but it should have been Haris retained in his place. He's a better SLAO anyway.

Would have dropped Hasan from the team. He has become a bit to arrogant and his bowling for the last year has been trash

Sarfraz ko budnaam kerney ka bahana chahey. There are plenty reasons to blame him atm, no need to blame him for luck as well. I mean there is a current want we are losing because he did not wear suit to meet queen.:yk2

It's Monday and the best news this morning is that Poms are bowling ..... there is a small chance that, I might enjoy the full game without sacrificing much of office time - Monday mornings are normally quite busy!!!

No man our bowling is way too weak. We couldn't defend 359 runs plus England with the addition of Mark Wood its highly unlikely we can score that much.
Hope I am wrong. Not have much hope from these softies cookies players.
 
I think this was a good toss to lose. Just need to put 330 on the board and let the scoreboard pressure and tight bowling do the rest..

I just hope Sarfaraz utilizes Malik’s bowling because he does have the ability to slow the scoring.

Hafeez back up the order. Not something I like seeing but it seems as though we really haven’t got any other options.

330-350 should be a good total here
 
Anyone know the conditions? Is it overcast? I see it’s a bit windy out. Early morning starts are good form bowlers. Toss is extremely crucial in this World Cup with these early starts
 
Hopefully Babar will play a selfish innings otherwise we saw what happened last match. Its Fakhar and Babar or nothing.

I see too much negativity in this forum. Cheer up guys.. it's the world cup! Just put your best foot forward and let the game speak.

Track is not that flat. Its two pace and if Pak can scire 250, it will b a good match.

It's a very good toss to lose Dr. I always believe in law of average for toss and Sarfraz has lost 2 out of tosses so far (3/3 actually including the warm-up game)...

That increases his chances of winning toss in those two all important games against SRL & AFGs - PAK will need that.

Well right, Pakistan to bat first. Please, please just stay calm on the wicket. They should prioritise not losing wickets in the first 10 to 15 overs. Obviously not saying that they should get stuck, but the stroke-play should be on merit and less risky. Just run smartly between the wicket and combine positivity with some brains. Imam-ul-Haq is my man!
 
Alright gotten up at 2:30 am to watch the game. Have another hour and half before I go back to sleep. Hopefully I won't be sleeping before that cursing the team.
 
For Pakistan its a win if they manage to keep viewers interested in the match till more than half of the second batting. :)
 
A good coach would tell the players to just go out and play their game and not worry about scoring 350. The pressure to score 7/8 an over becomes our undoing.

We need to play 50 overs. That is the priority
